Casino Royale is a 1967 spy parody film originally distributed by Columbia Pictures.
Casino Royale successfully redefined James Bond for the 21st century,
ensuring the character’s continued relevance and appeal.
Eva Green’s performance as Vesper Lynd added a complex and tragic love interest, enhancing
the film’s emotional impact. Daniel Craig’s
portrayal of Bond brought a new level of intensity, vulnerability, and physicality,
setting a new standard for future films. The theme song by Chris Cornell, “You Know My Name,” added a modern, edgy feel to the film’s opening,
aligning with its refreshed tone and style.
