O prazo para que estados e municípios respondam às diligências técnicas do Pacto Nacional pela Retomada de Obras na Educação Básica e Profissionalizante termina nesta segunda-feira (31). De acordo com o Ministério da Educação, 863 obras em todo o país ainda estão pendentes de resposta.
A presidente do Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educação (FNDE), Fernanda Pacobahyba, afirma que a falta de regularização dos empreendimentos resultará no cancelamento do projeto. Segundo ela, o prazo foi prorrogado diversas vezes, mas agora a data é definitiva.

O intuito do pacto é contribuir para a retomada e conclusão de obras paralisadas em escolas de educação básica e profissionalizante. Até o fechamento desta reportagem, 1.849 empreendimentos foram aprovados. Desse total, 287 já foram concluídos.

O programa prevê um investimento total de R$ 4,1 bilhões. Os recursos serão utilizados na criação de mais de 552 mil vagas em tempo integral ou até 1,1 milhão de vagas em dois turnos nas redes públicas de ensino.
Fiscalização
O Tribunal de Contas da União (TCU) deu início ao trabalho de fiscalização sobre empreendimentos de municípios que aderiram ao Pacto Nacional pela Retomada de Obras da Educação Básica e Profissionalizante (Pacto).
O TCU informou que o trabalho vai contar com a colaboração do Observatório Social do Brasil (OSB), instituição sem fins lucrativos que reúne mais de 3.500 voluntários em 17 estados brasileiros.

A ideia é que os voluntários façam coleta de dados sobre contratos, projetos arquitetônicos, planilhas de preços, cronogramas físico-financeiros e execução dos serviços, com o objetivo de garantir maior controle social sobre o uso dos recursos públicos.
O FNDE disponibiliza três painéis de monitoramento online com o intuito de dar maior transparência acerca do andamento das obras. Um deles é o Painel FNDE Power BI. Outro canal disponível é a Plataforma Antonieta de Barros. As informações também podem ser consultadas no Portal SIMEC.
