O homem é apontado como chefe de rede criminosa na Chapada Diamantina

A Polícia Civil da Bahia cumpriu, na manhã desta quinta-feira (2), em Seabra, mandado de prisão temporária contra um empresário de 59 anos, do ramo de hotelaria, investigado por exploração sexual de adolescentes no município de Lençóis, na Chapada Diamantina. De acordo com as apurações, o investigado é apontado como chefe de uma rede de exploração sexual infantojuvenil na região.
Já foram identificadas seis possíveis vítimas, com idades entre 12 e 17 anos, que eram aliciadas em troca de dinheiro, presentes e viagens, além de serem levadas para pousadas de propriedade do investigado, onde ocorriam a maior parte dos abusos. As investigações indicam que os crimes vinham ocorrendo há pelo menos dois anos e envolvem estupro de vulnerável, favorecimento da prostituição de menores e induzimento à fuga.

Segundo o delegado titular da Delegacia Territorial de Lençóis, Matheus Oliveira, responsável pelas investigações, a apuração revelou um método de cooptação em cadeia: “Foi constatado que o investigado oferecia vantagens materiais aos próprios adolescentes para que convencessem amigas a se relacionarem com ele. Dessa forma, as jovens recrutavam outras garotas. Agora seguimos a linha investigativa de que outros adultos também participavam da rede criminosa, o que será aprofundado nas diligências, inclusive com a perícia nos celulares do homem, onde já identificamos mais indícios”.
Após tomar conhecimento do inquérito, o suspeito deixou a cidade de Lençóis e passou a ser monitorado pela Polícia Civil. Na manhã desta quinta-feira, equipes do Grupo de Apoio Técnico e Tático Operacional (GATTI/Diamantina), da 13ª Coordenadoria Regional de Polícia do Interior (Coorpin/Seabra), localizaram o empresário no centro de Seabra e cumpriram o mandado judicial. O preso foi encaminhado à unidade policial e está à disposição da Justiça. As investigações continuam para identificar outras possíveis vítimas e envolvidos no esquema criminoso.
