O ano de 2025 terminou com o número recorde de 8,9 milhões de empresas inadimplentes no Brasil, com um total de R$ 213 bilhões em dívidas negativadas no país em dezembro. Os valores representam os patamares mais altos da série histórica do indicador de Inadimplência das Empresas da Serasa Experian, e, ainda, um aumento de cerca de duas milhões de empresas em inadimplência em relação ao mesmo mês de 2024, quando o país registrou 6,9 milhões de CNPJs no vermelho.
Das 8,9 milhões de empresas inadimplentes em dezembro de 2025, segundo o Serasa Experian, 8,5 milhões correspondem a micro e pequenos negócios. Além disso, a maior parte do total está ligada ao setor de Serviços, com 55,2% das empresas, seguido por Comércio, com 32,7%, Indústria, com 8,1%, Primário, com 0,9%, e “Outros”, com 3,1% — categoria que contempla empresas do setor “Financeiro” e do “Terceiro Setor”.
A economista-chefe da Serasa Experian, Camila Abdelmalack, explica que o resultado de dezembro reflete um ambiente econômico ainda desafiador. Ela destaca que o ano foi marcado pela dificuldade na obtenção e nas condições de crédito e pelos custos financeiros elevados, o que reduziu a capacidade de muitas empresas de alongar dívidas e recompor capital de giro. “O resultado é um aumento consistente da inadimplência ao longo dos meses, culminando em novo recorde histórico no encerramento do ano”, reforça.
Segundo o levantamento, em dezembro de 2025, cada empresa inadimplente possuía, em média, sete contas negativas, com ticket médio de R$ 3.380,90, e a dívida média por CNPJ foi de R$ 23.818,30. A economista chama atenção para o fato de que, em comparação a dezembro de 2024, é possível observar um aumento do valor devido por cada empresa, o que indica que não só há um maior número de endividados, mas os valores dessas dívidas também estão maiores. Ela explica que esse dado sinaliza uma maior pressão sobre o fluxo de caixa das empresas, especialmente para negócios com menor acesso a crédito estruturado.
