Moradores dos Assentamentos Rurais do Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra (MST) participaram na quarta-feira (16), no Gabinete Oficial do governador Jerônimo Rodrigues Souza (PT), em Salvador, de um diálogo sobre políticas públicas voltadas às Comunidades Rurais do MST. Na ocasião, foram apresentadas as negociações do movimento social com as Secretarias Estaduais e o Instituto Nacional de Colonização e Reforma Agrária (Incra), também representado no encontro.
O secretário de Estado do Desenvolvimento Rural da Bahia, Osni Cardoso der Araújo, destacou que a reunião representou uma articulação entre o Governo do Estado e o Governo Federal para atender às principais demandas das famílias que vivem da agricultura nos Assentamentos.
“Eles trouxeram uma pauta diversa: Saúde, Educação, acesso à água. Já estamos atendendo a algumas dessas questões. Pela Secretaria de Estado do Desenvolvimento Rural da Bahia, já entregamos equipamentos, estamos dialogando com o Incra para destravar terras que, embora sejam do Estado, podem ser destinadas à reforma agrária, tirando as pessoas de acampamentos e promovendo dignidade. Saímos dessa reunião com um saldo bastante positivo”, afirmou o secretário.
Na ocasião, também foram apresentadas algumas respostas do Governo baiano às necessidades apontadas pelos assentados. Até 2026, estão previstos investimentos nas áreas de Desenvolvimento Rural, Saúde, Segurança Alimentar e Acesso à Água. Entre maio e dezembro deste ano, serão distribuídos 1,5 mil quilos de sementes de milho e feijão crioulos, 15 mil mudas de espécies nativas e frutíferas da Caatinga, além de 100 mil raquetes de palma forrageira, por meio da Secretaria de Estado do Desenvolvimento Rural da Bahia.
Representando a direção nacional do MST na Bahia, Eliane Oliveira ressaltou a importância das respostas das Secretarias de Estado. “Para nós, do MST, essas ações geram grandes expectativas de cumprimento das nossas pautas, tanto a nível federal quanto estadual. Saímos daqui com esperança renovada, com algumas demandas já sendo atendidas, fruto do diálogo que mantemos com o Estado para beneficiar nossa companheirada no campo”, comemorou.
A Secretaria de Estado do Desenvolvimento Rural da Bahia, por meio da Companhia de Desenvolvimento e Ação Regional (CAR), também irá fornecer equipamentos como tratores, roçadeiras, plantadeiras, veículos, kits de irrigação e caixas d’água, integrando as políticas voltadas ao campo, que atendem Comunidades Quilombolas e de Fundos e Fechos de Pasto. Nos últimos doze meses, já foram entregues 12 tratores, 12 kits para Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBS), a instalação de oito poços artesianos, 17 Farinheiras Móveis e 40 kits de irrigação para os assentamentos do MST.
Na infraestrutura viária, estão previstas obras de pavimentação para facilitar o escoamento da produção agrícola dos assentados, além de Escolas do Campo em sete municípios com Assentamentos do MST. Em Salvador, a Secretaria de Estado da Cultura da Bahia está à frente da implantação de um novo espaço para o Armazém do Campo, que atualmente funciona em uma área menor no Pelourinho.
O presidente do Incra, Cesar Fernando Schiavon Aldrighi, enxerga no Estado um parceiro fundamental na garantia do acesso à terra, com uma infraestrutura básica planejada para os assentamentos regularizados. “Tivemos uma reunião com o governador mais cedo, onde discutimos diretrizes para atuação conjunta na garantia do acesso à terra. Enxergamos diversas possibilidades de parcerias, como recursos de crédito e instalação. O Governo do Estado será de grande ajuda para que essas políticas cheguem aos assentamentos”, afirmou.
