A formação profissional do jornalista também perpassa pelo entendimento da fotografia e do audiovisual. Foi exatamente com um olhar transdisciplinar para esse campo que dez estudantes do curso de Jornalismo da Uesb tiveram suas produções selecionadas no Festival do Minuto e no Festival FotoDoc.
Para o Festival do Minuto, foram aprovados trabalhos de Anna Júlia Ferreira, Daniel Lacerda, David Teixeira e Jaiane Ribeiro. No Festival FotoDoc, foram selecionadas as fotografias de Iury Medrado, Lucas Miguel Tavares, Manuela Lopes, Samily da Silva e Talita de Oliveira. Maria Clara Kosilek foi contemplada nos dois eventos.
Com foco em trabalhos documentais, as fotos e vídeos escolhidos são fruto do projeto “Audiovisualidades Hibrídas”, coordenado pela professora da Uesb, Adriana Camargo. O início da produção aconteceu em uma das suas disciplinas, na qual incentivou os estudantes a produzirem para os Festivais. “Eles tiveram toda a liberdade para fazer o produto que se interessavam, que tinha mais a ver com o trabalho deles. Tudo foi construído na disciplina de ‘Fotojornalismo’, com as bases de disciplinas anteriores, ministradas por mim, como ‘Teorias da Imagem e do Som’ e ‘Linguagem e produção fotográfica’”, conta Adriana.
O resultado são produções que dialogam com as transformações sociais e culturais do mundo de forma sensível e criativa. “Tento fazer com que os discentes, a partir do contato com essas técnicas e com o pensamento, saiam das caixinhas formadas pelo jornalismo tradicional. Vejo um resultado produtivo, pois eles já estão se destacando na formação, antes mesmo de se tornarem jornalistas”, avalia Adriana.
Olhares premiados – Iury Medrado, estudante do 5º semestre de Jornalismo, faz parte do grupo que teve seu trabalho selecionado. A fotografia “Da janela, a história é contada – o que vemos além da moldura? Um portal para o sertão, onde cada pedaço de terra guarda uma memória” está concorrendo no Festival FotoDoc, evento internacional.
A foto compete na categoria “Imagem Destacada”. “Essa foto foi tirada na cidade de Canudos, onde tive o prazer de realizar um trabalho lá com Adriana. Foi uma experiência que mexeu muito comigo e me fez perceber o quanto a história do passado vive no presente”, lembra Iury.
Além da indicação, todo o processo criativo trouxe novas perspectivas para o futuro jornalista. “Pude enxergar o jornalismo de uma nova forma e perceber quantas oportunidades surgem quando ampliamos nossa visão. Acredito que toda essa experiência já me transformou e ainda vai me transformar muito”, afirma o estudante.
Em formato audiovisual, Daniel Lacerda produziu o experimento “Simbologias Profanas e Cartas Dançantes”, entrelaçando o simbólico da Era Medieval e o espiritual da bruxaria contemporânea. Estudante do 3º semestre do curso de Jornalismo, ele teve seu trabalho selecionado no Festival do Minuto, evento tradicional na área. “Este vídeo convida o espectador a decifrar as mensagens expressas pelas cores, pela imagem, pelos signos e, também, pelo som, a fim de criar uma proximidade entre o ‘profano’ e o mundano”, revela.
Atualmente, o Festival é permanente e digital, e os vídeos são escolhidos em diferentes formatos. Daniel optou pela técnica de stop motion, que “consiste em criar um vídeo composto por fotografias sequenciais de maneira que a ideia de movimento seja perceptível”, explica o estudante, que contou com a parceria de Enzo Vinhático, estudante do curso de Cinema e Audiovisual da Uesb.
O sentimento é de realização em meio a tantas descobertas. “É realmente gratificante ser selecionado em um evento como o Festival do Minuto, pela alegria em me conectar com alguma expressão artística, algo que achava distante da minha realidade e que nunca conseguiria fazer”, afirma Daniel.
O projeto – “Audiovisualidades Hibrídas” surgiu em 2022 e propõe uma abordagem transdisciplinar e inovadora, interligando imagem, som e artes para expandir a formação de um novo profissional do Jornalismo. Atualmente, a iniciativa conta com a participação de estudantes, professores, artistas, jornalistas e especialistas em diversas áreas.
