A Foliculite é uma inflamação dos Folículos Pilosos que pode causar desconforto e vermelhidão na pele. Diante da crescente preocupação ambiental, muitos consumidores têm buscado alternativas mais sustentáveis para o autocuidado. Um estudo da Nielsen (Empresa global de informação de dados e análises) revela que 42% dos brasileiros já mudaram seus hábitos de consumo para minimizar o impacto ambiental. Atentas a essa tendência, as estudantes Any Isabele Dias e Fernanda Luz, do Colégio Estadual de Tempo Integral Antônio Batista, em Candiba, criaram um esfoliante à base de ingredientes naturais que ajuda no tratamento da Foliculite.
Any Isabele, uma das jovens cientistas, explica que o esfoliante é composto por fubá, mel, canela, maçã, hidratante, sabonete líquido e óleo de rosa mosqueta. “O fubá clareia e confere consistência ao produto, enquanto o mel possui propriedades anti-inflamatórias e cicatrizantes. O sabonete elimina impurezas, o hidratante previne o ressecamento e a canela remove células mortas. O chá de maçã ajuda a reduzir inflamações, a glicerina fortalece a pele e o óleo de rosa mosqueta proporciona uma hidratação profunda”, explica.
Conforme as estudantes, o esfoliante foi testado por 12 voluntários, sendo 5 homens e 7 mulheres, que usaram o produto duas vezes por semana. “Durante os testes, avaliamos diversos aspectos, como eficácia, textura, fragrância, benefícios, frequência de uso e possíveis efeitos colaterais. A maioria dos participantes relatou uma melhora no controle da Foliculite, indicando que o esfoliante pode ser uma alternativa natural e acessível em relação aos produtos comerciais”, destaca Fernanda Luz.
O Projeto é orientado pela Professora e Bióloga Solimara Ramos Mendes e coorientado pela Professora e Bióloga Fernanda de Deus Junqueira, com o apoio da Secretaria de Estado da Educação da Bahia. “Nosso esfoliante é de baixo custo e a pesquisa abre espaço para novas investigações sobre a otimização da formulação e ampliação do uso do produto, podendo beneficiar um número maior de pessoas com problemas semelhantes”, projeta Any Isabele.
