Com foco na valorização da produção sustentável e familiar, a Feira Agroecológica da Uesb já se tornou parte das atividades semanais. Realizada todas as sextas-feiras, das 8 às 14 horas, no campus da Universidade em Vitória da Conquista, a Feira passa a contar com um novo espaço a partir de agora.
A inauguração acontece nesta sexta (14), em frente ao Restaurante Universitário. A programação do evento inclui atrações culturais, com música ao vivo e lançamentos de livros, além da comercialização de uma ampla variedade de produtos. Feijão, farinha, hortaliças, verduras, ovos, geleias, manteigas, cosméticos e artesanatos são algumas das opções disponíveis para os visitantes.
Todos os produtos vendidos são cultivados e produzidos por pequenos agricultores da região Sudoeste da Bahia, seguindo os princípios da Agroecologia. A iniciativa é coordenada por professores e funcionários ligados ao Departamento de Ciências Exatas e Tecnológicas (DCET) e ao Setor de Apicultura e Meliponicultura da Uesb, em parceria com o Centro Territorial de Educação Profissional (Cetep) e vinculada à Pró-Reitoria de Extensão e Assuntos Comunitários (Proex).
