Boletim mostra diminuição de covid-19 no Rio de Janeiro e em São Paulo

Os casos de Síndrome Respiratória Aguda Grave (SRAG) entre adultos estão com tendência lenta de queda, segundo o Boletim InfoGripe divulgado hoje (5) pela Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz). De acordo com o levantamento, o motivo é a diminuição de agravamentos da covid-19 nos estados do Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo.
Nas outras unidades da federação, a Fiocruz aponta para a interrupção da tendência de crescimento, mas ainda há 11 estados com aumento nas últimas seis semanas.
O pesquisador Marcelo Gomes ressalta que os eventuais impactos das celebrações de final de ano ainda não podem ser observados nesse boletim, que incluiu dados processados até o dia 2 de janeiro, referentes à última semana epidemiológica de 2022.
“Caso as exposições das festas realmente gerem impacto, ele só poderá ser observado nos casos associados a internações a partir da próxima semana.”
Segundo o boletim, nas últimas quatro semanas epidemiológicas, as internações por infecção pelo vírus Sars-CoV-2, causador da covid-19, ainda respondem por 78,3% dos casos. Entre os resultados positivos para vírus respiratórios, 1,2% foram de influenza A, 0,1% são de influenza B e 11,1% foram causados pelo vírus sincicial respiratório (VSR). Entre os óbitos 96,1% são por Sars-CoV-2.
Na faixa etária de 0 a 4 anos, o VSR mantém a prevalência, principalmente em São Paulo, Distrito Federal e nos três estados da região Sul. O InfoGripe detectou aumento também entre as crianças do Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais e de Roraima.

Entre as 27 unidades federativas, 11 tiveram crescimento moderado de casos da síndrome na tendência de longo prazo, que analisa as últimas seis semanas, principalmente na faixa acima de 60 anos, associados à covid-19.
São eles: o Acre, Distrito Federal, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Piauí, Rio Grande do Sul, Rondônia, Roraima e Tocantins.
