Entre as 52 produções teatrais e performances concorrendo ao Prêmio Bahia Aplaude, que chega à 30ª edição enfatizando a singularidade das artes cênicas no Estado, o espetáculo “Flor D’água, Mulher Rio”, se destacou ao receber duas indicações , reafirmando a relevância do teatro no interior baiano. Originário de Carinhanha, o espetáculo concorre nas categorias de Melhor Atriz e Categoria Especial (composição e trilha sonora), ambas para a talentosa atriz, compositora, musicista e multiartista carinhanhense Sibelle Lélis.
A narrativa gira em torno da personagem Flor D’água, uma mulher idosa que encarna a essência da água, emergindo das profundezas do Rio São Francisco. Através de um monólogo vibrante e musical, a protagonista se transforma em diversas mulheres do sertão baiano, revelando suas histórias, desafios e vivências. O texto é inteiramente de autoria de Sibelle Lélis, que, em sua performance solo, traz à cena personagens femininas reais, refletindo o contexto histórico de Carinhanha, sua cidade natal.
Sibelle expressa que a indicação representa uma grande conquista, abrindo portas para um espetáculo inteiramente artesanal, oriundo de uma localidade muitas vezes esquecida em termos culturais e geográficos. “A temporada foi realizada em uma Escola Pública, já que Carinhanha não possui Teatro ou Espaço Cultural convencional. Nossa plateia era formada por pessoas que nunca haviam assistido a um espetáculo, como pescadores, quilombolas e moradores de Agrovilas. Receber esse reconhecimento externo é extremamente gratificante”, compartilha.
A artista ainda revela que já se sente premiada ao ver como uma ideia que estava apenas no papel conseguiu tocar tantas almas. “O que mais me emocionou foi a forte reação do público. Dou voz a histórias de mulheres que estão dentro de mim, que enfrentaram questões como a violência doméstica, e isso é muito significativo”, completa Sibelle.
