Responsável pela articulação política do governo tomou posse hoje

Ao assumir o cargo de ministra da Secretaria de Relações Institucionais da Presidência (SRI), Gleisi Hoffmann destacou a aprovação da isenção do Imposto de Renda para quem ganha até R$ 5 mil como agenda legislativa prioritária do governo este ano. 
A declaração foi dada nesta segunda-feira (10), em concorrida cerimônia no Palácio do Planalto. Gleisi Hoffmann assumiu a pasta, no lugar de Alexandre Padilha, que foi deslocado para o Ministério da Saúde, e que também tomou posse no mesmo evento, sucedendo a Nísia Trindade, que deixou o governo.
“Nosso trabalho conjunto deve se refletir na consolidação de uma base de apoio estável, já a partir da votação do Orçamento de 2025, para avançarmos na agenda legislativa, essencial e urgente este ano para o povo brasileiro. Desta agenda, quero destacar, por seu sentido transformador, a isenção do Imposto de Renda para os que recebem até R$ 5 mil. Uma questão de justiça”, afirmou a ministra.
“Hoje, presidente [Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva], uma professora que ganha R$ 5 mil paga 27,5% de Imposto de Renda, enquanto cerca de 150 mil pessoas, que ganham muito, pagam menos de 10% de imposto. Essa medida vai ajudar milhões de brasileiros e brasileiras”, acrescentou.
Articulação política
A SRI é a pasta responsável pela articulação política do governo no Congresso Nacional e também no diálogo interfederativo com estados e municípios.
“Chego para somar. Foi essa missão que recebi e pretendo cumprir. Um governo de ampla coalizão, dialogando com as forças políticas do Congresso e com as expressões da sociedade, suas organizações e movimentos. Chego para colaborar com todos ministros e ministras, que coordenam suas respectivas áreas, respeitando os espaços e competências de cada um e cada uma, sob a liderança do presidente Lula”, afirmou Gleisi Hoffmann.
A ministra também fez questão de citar o ministro da Fazenda, Fernando Haddad, ao falar sobre sua disposição de lutar pela pauta econômica do governo.
“Tenho plena consciência do meu papel, que é da articulação política. Eu estarei aqui, ministro Fernando Haddad, para ajudar na consolidação das pautas econômicas desse governo. As pautas que você conduz, e que estão colocando novamente o Brasil na rota do emprego, do crescimento e da renda”, afirmou.
Quando era presidente do PT, cargo que deixou para assumir o ministério, Gleisi era crítica ao aumento de juros pelo Banco Central e às medidas de arrocho fiscal excessivo.
A ministra também agradeceu as presenças dos presidentes da Câmara dos Deputados, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), e do Senado, Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP), e dos líderes do governo e demais líderes partidários.
A cerimônia lotou o Salão Nobre do Palácio do Planalto, e muitas pessoas tiveram que acompanhar a posse do térreo e em outra ala do prédio. Houve grande presença de ministros, parlamentares e outras autoridades, e representantes de entidades da sociedade civil.
Perfil
Nascida em Curitiba,no Paraná, em 6 de setembro de 1965, Gleisi é formada em Direito e tem especialização em Gestão de Organizações Públicas e Administração Financeira. Iniciou sua trajetória política no movimento estudantil e, em 1989, filiou-se ao PT. Foi secretária no governo de Mato Grosso do Sul e secretária de Gestão Pública na Prefeitura de Londrina (PR).
Em 2002, no primeiro governo Lula, assumiu a Diretoria Financeira de Itaipu Binacional. Entre 2008 e 2009, presidiu o diretório estadual do PT no Paraná e em 2010 foi eleita senadora pelo estado. Em 2011, a então presidente Dilma Rousseff convidou-a a assumir a chefia da Casa Civil da Presidência da República, função que desempenhou até fevereiro de 2014, quando, então, retornou para o Senado Federal.
Gleisi Hoffmann foi eleita, em 2017, para a presidência nacional do PT e, em 2018, para uma cadeira na Câmara dos Deputados, pelo Paraná. Em 2022, foi reeleita como deputada federal.
