Em uma reunião realizada na tarde desta terça-feira (8), com representantes da Prefeitura Municipal de Oliveira dos Brejinhos, o governador Jerônimo Rodrigues Souza (PT), acompanhado, entre outros, das secretárias de Estado da Saúde, da Educação e da Infraestrutura Hídrica e de Saneamento da Bahia, respectivamente Roberta Silva de Carvalho Santana, Rowenna dos Santos Brito e Larissa Gomes Moraes,anunciou a destinação de três veículos para a área da Saúde Pública do município – uma Ambulância, um Micro-ônibus e um veículo para Tratamento Fora do Domicílio (TFD). O encontro, realizado no Centro de Operações e Inteligência de Segurança Pública 2 de Julho, no Centro Administrativo da Bahia, em Salvador, teve como foco a discussão de demandas urgentes para o desenvolvimento do município.
Durante o encontro, o governador reiterou seu compromisso com os investimentos nos municípios baianos e ressaltou que iniciativas como essas representam avanços importantes na promoção da qualidade de vida da população.
Jerônimo Rodrigues destacou que o Governo do Estado está empenhado em garantir que o desenvolvimento beneficie todas as regiões da Bahia. Em particular, no que diz respeito a Oliveira dos Brejinhos, foram discutidas durante a reunião questões relacionadas à Saúde, à construção de um novo Terminal Rodoviário, ao abastecimento de água em Povoados, à reestruturação da Feira Livre, além de ações prioritárias nas áreas de Segurança Pública e Infraestrutura, conforme solicitado pelo prefeito.
Investimentos em Oliveira dos Brejinhos
Entre 2023 e 2025, o Governo do Estado já investiu mais de R$ 57 milhões em Oliveira dos Brejinhos, beneficiando os pouco mais de 20 mil habitantes.
Entre os investimentos está a construção do Colégio de Tempo Integral Tiradentes; a requalificação do Estádio Municipal João Ferreira Leal; nas intervenções de Infraestrutura e Mobilidade Urbana na pavimentação de vias públicas na sede e nos Povoados, assim como o acesso da BR-242 ao Distrito de Ipubaça.
Na área do Abastecimento e Segurança Hídrica, o Governo do Estado executou e está executando obras de implantação de Sistemas de Abastecimento de Água e estão em andamento as obras de recuperação da Barragem do Girau.
Para fomentar o desenvolvimento e a produção agrícola, o Governo do Estado investiu na construção e aquisição de equipamentos das Unidades de Produção de Ração para Ovinos e Caprinos (Comunidades de Várzea Grande, Várzea Alegre, Melancias, Fazenda Barriguda, Sítio Lagoa de Pedra e Sítio Fundos), e de Beneficiamento de Frutas (Povoado de Flora) e de Mandioca (Comunidade de Saco do Fogo).
