Na tarde do último sábado (2), o governador Jerônimo Rodrigues Souza (PT), esteve em Caculé para cumprir agenda institucional, acompanhado do Superintendente de Infraestrutura de Transportes da Secretaria de Estado de Transporte, Energia e Comunicação da Bahia, Saulo Filinto Pontes de Souza; do Chefe de Gabinete da Secretaria de Estado da Segurança Pública da Bahia, Daniel Justo Madruga; do Delegado Geral da Polícia Civil, Delegado André Augusto de Mendonça Viana; do Comandante Geral da Polícia Militar, Coronel PM Antônio Carlos Silva Magalhães, e do presidente da Empresa Baiana de Águas e Saneamento (Embasa), Gildeone Almeida Santos.
Durante a visita, o governador participou de atividades culturais e iniciativas voltadas ao desenvolvimento da cidade, além de inaugurar obras importantes nas áreas de infraestrutura urbana e recursos hídricos. Também foram entregues veículos e equipamentos destinados à melhoria da Saúde Pública, e anunciados novos investimentos que visam impulsionar o crescimento econômico e social do município.
Na ocasião, o governador prestigiou a VI Feira da Agricultura Familiar da Serra Geral (Feaf) e o Festival da Cultura Baiana, promovidos pela Cooperativa de Trabalho, Assessoria Técnico e Educacional para o Desenvolvimento da Agricultura Familiar (Cootraf), com o apoio da Secretaria de Agricultura, Pecuária, Irrigação, Pesca e Aquicultura da Bahia. Os eventos, encerrados no domingo (3), celebraram a diversidade cultural e a economia local.
No âmbito institucional, Jerônimo Rodrigues entregou oficialmente à comunidade caculeense a nova Delegacia Territorial de Polícia Civil da 22ª Coordenadoria Regional de Polícia Civil do Interior, com sede em Guanambi; e o 2º Pelotão da Polícia Militar, vinculado à 94ª Companhia Independente de Polícia Militar, sediada em Caetité. A nova Unidade Conjunta, localizadas no Bairro Lagoa de Cima, representam um investimento de aproximadamente R$ 3,2 milhões e fazem parte do Programa de Modernização das Estruturas de Segurança Pública. A Delegacia Territorial de Polícia Civil conta com instalações modernas, incluindo Salas para Delegados, áreas de atendimento, investigação, reconhecimento e custódia, com celas. Já a sede do 2º Pelotão da Polícia Militar dispõe de Salas de Comando, Operacional, de Inteligência e vestiários, garantindo uma estrutura mais eficiente para a atuação policial na região.
Na área da Saúde Pública, o governador entregou à Secretaria Municipal de Saúde uma Ambulância e um veículo (Van) que será destinado ao Programa Tratamento Fora do Domicílio, além de três kits Odontológicos, um Aparelho de Raio-X, oito kits para Unidades Básicas de Saúde e equipamentos médicos destinados ao Hospital Maternidade Nossa Senhora Aparecida. Os recursos, que ultrapassam R$ 900 mil, visam aprimorar os Serviços de Saúde Pública no município, garantindo maior qualidade e eficiência no atendimento à população.
Na Infraestrutura Urbana, Jerônimo Rodrigues inaugurou oficialmente a Praça de Eventos Carlos White e a Praça da Feira, obras realizadas pelo Governo do Estado por meio da Secretaria de Estado do Desenvolvimento Urbano, em parceria com a Prefeitura Municipal. Ainda na mesma área, foi entregue a requalificação do Mercado Municipal, uma intervenção realizada pela Secretaria de Estado do Desenvolvimento Urbano, por meio da Companhia de Desenvolvimento Urbano do Estado da Bahia (Conder), que recebeu um investimento de aproximadamente R$ 3,8 milhões e visa revitalizar um importante espaço de comércio local.
No setor de Mobilidade Urbana, o governador anunciou a pavimentação de um trecho de três quilômetros do acesso ao Mercado Municipal, ligando-o à BA-617 (Caculé/BR-030). A obra, executada pela Secretaria de Infraestrutura de Transporte, Energia e Comunicação no âmbito do Programa Bahia em Movimento, contou com um aporte de R$ 2,3 milhões e facilitará o escoamento da produção agrícola e a mobilidade dos moradores, beneficiando também a sede municipal de Ibiassucê, e o Distritos de Pancadão e a BR-030, que conecta Brumado, Caetité e Guanambi.
No campo da Infraestrutura Hídrica, o governador entregou Sistemas Simplificados de Abastecimento de Água às comunidades de Piabanha, Peixe Gordo, Lagoa da Torta, Deus me Livre, Lagoa do Barro e Periperi da Tapera. Essas ações, realizadas pela Secretaria de Estado de Infraestrutura Hídrica e Saneamento, têm como objetivo garantir o acesso à água de qualidade para os moradores dessas localidades.
No desenvolvimento rural, Jerônimo Rodrigues assinou a entrega de Títulos de Terra a dezenove agricultores familiares de Caculé, beneficiados pelo Programa Terra Legal, por meio da Companhia de Desenvolvimento e Ação Regional (CAR). A iniciativa busca regularizar as propriedades rurais de agricultores que ainda não possuíam títulos definitivos, fortalecendo a segurança jurídica e estimulando a produção agrícola local.
A visita do governador a Caculé reforça o compromisso do Governo do Estado estadual com o Desenvolvimento Sustentável, a Segurança Pública, a Saúde e a qualidade de vida da população, por meio de ações concretas e investimentos estratégicos em diversas áreas essenciais ao crescimento do município.
