Na manhã da terça-feira (22), o governador da Bahia, Jerônimo Rodrigues Souza (PT), acompanhado de membros do primeiro escalão do Governo Estadual, entre os quais os secretários de Estado de Relações Institucionais (Adolpho Henrique Almeida Loyola) , da Saúde (Roberta Silva de Carvalho Santana), da Educação 9Rowenna dos Santos Brito), de Infraestrutura Hídrica e Saneamento (Larissa Gomes Moraes), de Assistência e Desenvolvimento Social (Fabya dos Reis Santos) e da Segurança Pública da Bahia (Marcelo Werner Derschum Filho), reuniu-se com a prefeita de Vitória da Conquista, Ana Sheila Lemos Andrade (União Brasil). O encontro ocorreu no Centro de Operações e Inteligência de Segurança Pública 2 de Julho, no Centro Administrativo da Bahia, em Salvador, com o objetivo de discutir ações prioritárias para o desenvolvimento e o bem-estar da população conquistense.
Apesar de pertencerem a espectros políticos diferentes, ambos demonstraram comprometimento em buscar soluções conjuntas para os desafios do município, evidenciando uma postura republicana de diálogo e cooperação.
Durante a reunião, uma das pautas centrais foi a possibilidade de o Governo do Estado investir na construção de uma nova Maternidade ou na ampliação dos serviços de Maternidade e Assistência Neonatal no Hospital Municipal Esaú Matos, única Unidade Hospitalar Municipal no Estado que possui uma UTI Neonatal e atende a população de mais de 200 municípios na Bahia e no Norte de Minas Gerais.
Ainda na área da Saúde Pública, a reunião avançou na proposta de construção de sete novas Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBS) no município. As obras, que serão executadas pela Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia, com previsão de investimento de aproximadamente R$ 20 milhões, financiadas por meio do Programa de Fortalecimento do Sistema Único de Saúde (Prosus II), com recursos do Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento (BID) através de um empréstimo do Governo do Estado. A autorização para execução do projeto dependerá da conclusão de estudos técnicos e da definição das áreas onde os serviços serão implantados.
Além da Saúde Pública, Infraestrutura Urbana e Rural e intervenções de Infraestrutura Hídrica para garantir o abastecimento de água em regiões que enfrentam dificuldades. O governador destacou a importância de investimentos do Estado em projetos que promovam melhorias rápidas e duradouras na qualidade de vida da população, reafirmando o compromisso de continuar atendendo às demandas sociais e promovendo o desenvolvimento econômico e social do município. “O Governo do Estado continuará a trabalhar para atender às necessidades da população e apoiar o crescimento dos municípios da Bahia”, afirmou.
A prefeita Ana Sheila Lemos Andrade destacou a necessidade de ações coordenadas para otimizar recursos e ampliar os resultados das políticas públicas, ressaltando a importância do diálogo institucional, da sensibilidade política e da transparência nas parcerias. “É fundamental que discutamos de forma clara e objetiva as necessidades do nosso município, buscando soluções que atendam aos interesses da nossa população”, afirmou.
A reunião foi marcada pela demonstração de maturidade política e responsabilidade de ambos os dirigentes, que reafirmaram o compromisso de fortalecer o diálogo e a colaboração entre os diferentes níveis de Governo, reconhecendo que a união de esforços é essencial para o avanço do município e do Estado. Considerada um passo importante para superar diferenças políticas em prol do bem comum, a conversa reforçou a disposição de Jerônimo Rodrigues de manter o diálogo aberto e de estabelecer parcerias em benefício da população conquistense.
Ao final do encontro, o governador reforçou seu compromisso de continuar o diálogo e de realizar novas parcerias, destacando a cordialidade que tem marcado os encontros institucionais com a prefeita Ana Sheila. Agradeceu a presença e a disposição da prefeita em dialogar sobre temas voltados ao desenvolvimento sustentável, à melhoria contínua dos serviços públicos e às condições de vida da população de Vitória da Conquista, que ele destacou como um município de grande importância para a Bahia e para o Brasil.
Jerônimo Rodrigues também mencionou as ações que o Governo Estadual vem realizando no município, nas áreas de Educação, Saúde, Infraestrutura, Mobilidade, Abastecimento de Água e outras, anunciando que, possivelmente que no próximo mês de maio estará em Vitória da Conquista para a entrega de obras e a divulgação de novos investimentos.
Também participaram do encontro o Diretor-Superintendente da Superintendência de Infraestrutura de Transportes da Bahia, Saulo Filinto Pontes de Souza, e o presidente da Empresa Baiana de Águas e Saneamento S.A. (Embasa), Gildeone Almeida Santos.
Acompanharam a prefeita Ana Sheila Lemos Andrade na audiência, o Chefe do Gabinete Civil, Ivanildo da Silva; o secretário municipal de Comunicação Social, Luiz Fernando Lima, e a Diretoria Administrativa do Hospital Municipal Esaú Matos, Enfermeira Ceres Neide Almeida Costa.
