Na manhã da quarta-feira (14), o governador em exercício Geraldo Alves Ferreira Júnior (MDB), acompanhado do secretário de Estado de Segurança Pública da Bahia, Marcelo Werner Derschum Filho, cumpriu agenda de trabalho em Macaúbas, onde inaugurou as novas instalações da Delegacia Territorial de Polícia Civil e da 4ª Companhia Independente de Polícia Militar.
A Unidade Integrada de Segurança Pública, localizada no Bairro Selma Nunes, foi 31ª entregue em 2025 e representou um investimento de aproximadamente R$ 4,6 milhões, destinados à construção da estrutura física, mobiliário e aquisição de equipamentos. Essa iniciativa faz parte do Programa de Modernização das Estruturas da Segurança Pública, promovido pelo Governo do Estado através da Secretaria de Estado de Segurança Pública da Bahia, com o objetivo de fortalecer a integração entre as forças Policiais Civil e Militar, garantindo maior eficiência no combate ao crime e na prestação de serviços à população.
A nova sede da Delegacia Territorial de Polícia Civil, vinculada à 24ª Coordenadoria de Polícia Civil do Interior de Bom Jesus da Lapa, conta com instalações modernas, incluindo Salas para o Delegado, Investigação, Oitivas e uma área de Custódia. Além disso, possui equipamentos tecnológicos atualizados para dar suporte às operações policiais. A estrutura física da 4ª Companhia Independente de Polícia Militar inclui Sala de Recepção, Salas de Instrução e Comando, além de setores Administrativo e de Inteligência, e uma área de meios logísticos.
Durante o evento, o governador em exercício destacou a importância da colaboração entre as Forças de Segurança Pública para promover a paz social e a proteção dos cidadãos. Ele ressaltou que a Unidade Integrada entregue em Macaúbas representa um avanço importante e reforçou o compromisso do Governo Jerônimo Rodrigues Souza (PT) de oferecer uma Segurança Pública mais eficiente e integrada, capaz de responder de forma rápida e eficaz às demandas da sociedade. O governador em exercício também reforçou que as ações do Governo estão alinhadas com as prioridades estabelecidas pelo governador Jerônimo Rodrigues (PT), que incluem integração, uso de inteligência, investimentos, inclusão social e humanização.
Geraldo Júnior afirmou que a política de Segurança Pública do Estado é fundamentada em três pilares principais: cuidar de quem cuida, cuidar de quem é vítima e cuidar de quem trabalha na defesa da sociedade. “Esse é o maior propósito e a principal missão do nosso Governo”, destacou.
Com a nova estrutura, que proporciona melhores condições de trabalho e atendimento digno à comunidade, o Governo do Estado demonstra a importância do trabalho dos Policiais Civis e Militares lotados em Macaúbas. Além disso, reforça o compromisso de investir em um Sistema de Segurança Pública eficaz, eficiente e efetivo, um dos pilares fundamentais para promover o bem-estar e a qualidade de vida da população.
