Acompanhado da secretária de Estado em exercício da Educação, do Chefe de Gabinete e do Superintendente da Superintendência de Infraestrutura de Transportes da Bahia, órgão vinculado à Secretaria de Estado de Infraestrutura de Transporte, Energia e Comunicação da Bahia, respectivamente Rowenna dos Santos Brito, Adolpho Loyola e Saulo Filinto Pontes de Souza, o governador Jerônimo Rodrigues (PT) cumpriu agenda de trabalho no último domingo em Jacaraci. Na oportunidade, o governador entregou obras e autorizou importantes investimentos nas áreas da Infraestrutura, Infraestrutura Hídrica e Educação.
O governador fez a entrega da primeira etapa das obras de pavimentação da BA-263 (Jacaraci/Condeúba), no trecho de cerca de 20 quilômetros entre o entroncamento da BA-156 (Licínio de Almeida/Mortugaba) ao Distrito de Irundiara. O trecho inaugurado, além de garantir a trafegabilidade e segurança de usuários, inclusive o transporte de alunos, e o escoamento da produção de uma importante região produtora da microrregião de Jacaraci, beneficiando ainda moradores dos municípios de Licínio de Almeida, Mortugaba, Caculé e Condeúba.
Em sua intervenção, no ato de entrega do trecho da Rodovia, o governador Jerônimo Rodrigues (PT) apontou a importância da obra para a economia do município e da região, lembrando que a conclusão do projeto, que está exigindo investimentos totais de cerca de R$ 80 milhões, chegando a Condeúba deverá estar concluído ainda este ano. Para o governador, a pavimentação do trecho rodoviário tem um significado muito maior que o de fomento a economia, de facilitação para que a produção possa chegar aos mercados consumidores com mais segurança e rapidez, mas traz uma série de benefícios para toda população da região, além de atender a um sonho de décadas.
AO JS, lideranças das Associações de Comerciantes e de Pequenos Produtores e Agricultores Rurais do Distrito de Irundiara, a pavimentação da BA-263 representa a materialização de um futuro mais acessível e desenvolvido para região, dando mais rapidez, segurança aos deslocamentos e escoamento da produção, encurtando distâncias e dinamizando a economia local e regional.
Acompanhando o governador na visita a Jacaraci, o titular da Superintendência de Infraestrutura de Transportes da Bahia, órgão vinculado à Secretaria de Estado de Infraestrutura de Transporte, Energia e Comunicação da Bahia, Saulo Filinto Pontes de Souza, reforçou que a segunda etapa do projeto, que vai contemplar os acessos a Guajeru (entroncamento para BA-148) Condeúba (BA-623), deverá estar concluído provavelmente dentro dos próximos quatro meses, “quando, se deus quiser, o governador (Jerônimo Rodrigues) vai estar entregando à população”.
Ainda na área da Infraestrutura Viária, Jerônimo Rodrigues autorizou a Secretaria de Estado de Infraestrutura de Transporte, Energia e Comunicação da Bahia a publicar o Edital de Licitação para pavimentação do trecho de 17 quilômetros ligando os Distritos de Irundiara a Vila Paiol. A previsão é que sejam investidos na intervenção R$ 15,6 milhões.
Depois de entregar o trecho da BA-263, Jerônimo Rodrigues fez a entrega de obras e investimentos que vão impactar na melhoria da Educação do Campo, beneficiando jovens estudantes das redes pública estadual e municipal de Ensino da zona rural de Jacaraci.
Foram entregues os Anexos dos Colégio Estaduais e Municipais sediados em Distritos de Irundiara (Colégio Estadual Zuleide Freire de Abreu), onde foram investidos R$ 1,3 milhão na construção de Salas de Aula, Salas Administrativas e para Professores, Refeitório, Cozinha e Lavanderia, beneficiando 875 alunos; no Povoado de São José (Anexo do Colégio Estadual Zuleide Freire de Abreu) os investimentos foram na construção de novas Salas de Aula, Sala de Vídeo e Refeitório; e no Povoado de Itumirim (Escola Municipal Antônio Guimarães), que atende a 1790 estudantes, onde foram investidos R$ 2,4 milhões na construção de Salas de Aula, de Professores e Administrativas, Cozinha e da Quadra Poliesportiva Coberta. Jerônimo Rodrigues também fez a entrega da ampliação da Escola Municipal Escola Clemente Dantas Brito, no Povoado de Vila Paiol, que ganhou uma Quadra Poliesportiva Coberta, beneficiando 120 alunos.
Já na sede do município, no Colégio Municipal Anísio Teixeira, o governador entregou o Campo de Futebol Society, onde foram instalados alambrado, grama sintética, traves e refletores.
Finalizando a agenda de trabalho em Jacaraci, atendendo a área da Segurança Hídrica, o governador entregou o novo Sistema Integrado do Abastecimento de Água da localidade de Centrão, na zona rural do município, com mil metros de Adutora, que está beneficiando diretamente mil famílias. As intervenções foram executadas pelo Governo do Estado, através da Secretaria de Estado de Infraestrutura Hídrica e Saneamento da Bahia, por meio de convênio com a Prefeitura Municipal de Jacaraci.
O governador também fez a entrega de 221 cisternas, de 16 mil litros cada, nas Comunidades de Semidouro e de Itumirim. As intervenções exigiram investimentos da ordem de R$ 1,3 milhão e vai beneficiar agricultores familiares e camponeses das localidades atendidas.
