Governo da Bahia lança Edital para apoiar Carnaval 2026 nos municípios

O Governo da Bahia anunciou na quinta-feira (4) o lançamento de um Edital de Chamamento Público voltado à celebração de Convênios de Cooperação Técnica e Financeira com municípios para a realização do Carnaval da Bahia 2026. A iniciativa prevê investimento total de R$ 33,25 milhões.

A execução do Edital ficará sob responsabilidade da Superintendência de Fomento ao Turismo do Estado da Bahia (Sufotur), órgão da estrutura da Secretaria de Estado de Turismo da Bahia, dirigida pelo superintendente Gustavo Stelitano Lira Gonçalves, e deve contemplar até 80 dos 417 municípios baianos. As inscrições estarão abertas até o próximo dia 15 de dezembro.

“O Carnaval da Bahia é o maior do planeta e um dos principais produtos turísticos do país. O Edital busca impulsionar o turismo doméstico e regional, fortalecer a economia criativa e gerar impactos positivos em toda a cadeia produtiva”, afirmou Stelitano. Para ele, o Projeto se consolida como “instrumento de desenvolvimento econômico e social do Estado”.

O Edital contempla eventos realizados entre 4 de fevereiro e 8 de março de 2026, incluindo pré-carnavais, lavagens, ensaios e manifestações culturais semelhantes. Apenas municípios que apresentarem toda a documentação exigida serão considerados habilitados.

Cada cidade poderá receber entre R$ 250 mil e R$ 700 mil, conforme critérios jurídicos, fiscais e técnicos. A análise levará em conta fatores como Territórios de Identidade, fluxo turístico, história, cultura e tradição carnavalesca. A avaliação será feita por uma Comissão Especial composta por representantes da Superintendência de Fomento ao Turismo do Estado da Bahia (Sufotur) e das  Secretaria de Estado de Turismo, de Cultura, de Relações Institucionais eda Casa Civil do Governo da Bahia.
