O Governo do Estado, através da Secretaria de estado da Agricultura, Pecuária, Irrigação, Pesca e Aquicultura da Bahia, esteve no município de Mirante, no último sábado (1º), em uma ação voltada ao fortalecimento dos Territórios Rurais. A agenda incluiu reuniões com agricultores, lideranças locais e representantes da gestão municipal, reafirmando o compromisso do Governo da Bahia com o desenvolvimento do campo e o incentivo à agricultura familiar, atividade que movimenta a economia da região.
Durante a visita, o secretário de Estado da Agricultura, Pecuária, Irrigação, Pesca e Aquicultura da Bahia, Pablo Rodrigo Barrozo dos Anjos Vale, destacou a importância do diálogo direto com os municípios para a construção de políticas públicas mais eficazes. “Ao ouvir os produtores e gestores locais, compreendemos melhor os desafios e as potencialidades de cada Território. Isso nos permite construir ações mais conectadas à realidade do campo”, afirmou.
Entre as principais demandas apresentadas estiveram melhorias na assistência técnica, ampliação da infraestrutura hídrica e fortalecimento das cadeias produtivas locais. O secretário Pablo Barrozo ressaltou a diversidade da produção agrícola de Mirante, com destaque para frutas orgânicas como maracujá, banana e manga, além de iniciativas voltadas à cadeia do leite. “Esses produtos evidenciam o valor do nosso produtor rural e o papel essencial da agricultura no desenvolvimento de Mirante”, pontuou.
Representantes da gestão municipal enfatizaram, durante o encontro com o secretário Pablo Barrozo, a importância do apoio do Governo do Estado à produção rural como ferramenta essencial para promover geração de renda e elevar a qualidade de vida no interior. Segundo eles, o incentivo ao produtor é decisivo para alcançar práticas sustentáveis no campo. Também foi destacado o papel estratégico das Unidades Familiares na Bovinocultura de Corte e Leite, além da diversidade agrícola do município, que inclui cultivos de maracujá, manga, milho, pimenta, tomate e mandioca.
Produtores rurais de Mirante manifestaram expectativa por políticas públicas que fortaleçam a cadeia produtiva do leite, apontada como uma das mais promissoras da região. Durante o encontro com o secretário Pablo Barrozo, um dos agricultores destacou a agilidade na comercialização do produto – “o leite é tirado hoje e o dinheiro entra amanhã” – mas alertou para a necessidade de investimentos em alimentação animal e infraestrutura de armazenamento. “Sem resfriadores, a produção fica limitada”, afirmou.
