Os dados informados vão orientar o desenvolvimento de políticas públicas destinadas às corporações e à melhoria de ações preventivas contra violência e criminalidade

Os gestores têm até o dia 31 de janeiro para participar da Pesquisa Diagnóstico Nacional das Guardas Municipais. Segundo o Ministério da Justiça e Segurança Pública (MJSP), as informações coletadas subsidiarão a realização de estudos, além de ter o potencial de dar suporte aos gestores públicos.
A pasta informou, em nota, que os resultados servirão de base para planejar políticas públicas dedicadas à estruturação da corporação, bem como para fortalecer estratégias de prevenção à violência e à criminalidade.
Dados da Pesquisa de Informações Básicas Municipais (Munic) de 2023, conduzida pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia Estatística (IBGE), apontam que dos 5.571 municípios brasileiros, 1.322 dispõem da Guarda Municipal.
Como responder à pesquisa
O pré-cadastro deve ser feito por representantes dos municípios que possuem Guarda Municipal por meio de um formulário online que pode ser acessado aqui.
Posteriormente, um novo link e uma senha serão enviados para que os comandantes das corporações possam participar da segunda fase do levantamento.
O diagnóstico é promovido pela Secretaria Nacional de Segurança Pública (Senasp), em parceria com o Programa das Nações Unidas para o Desenvolvimento (Pnud) e a Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV).
A diretora do Sistema Único de Segurança Pública (Susp), da Senasp, Isabel Figueiredo, ressalta que a participação ativa dos municípios no levantamento é importante para mapear problemas e planejar ações de melhorias.
“A adesão dos gestores municipais é fundamental para que possamos mapear os desafios enfrentados pelas Guardas Municipais e identificar as melhores soluções para aprimorar suas capacidades operacionais e administrativas”, afirma Isabel.
Conforme informações do MJSP, a participação de prefeitos e comandantes das Guardas Municipais é fundamental para o sucesso do diagnóstico.
