O último final de semana do mês de setembro, nono mês da atual Administração Municipal, foi marcado por importantes conquistas na área da Saúde em Igaporã. A Prefeitura Municipal realizou a entrega oficial da nova sede da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde e do Centro Municipal de Fisioterapia, reforçando o compromisso com a melhoria dos serviços públicos oferecidos à população.
A cerimônia contou com a presença de autoridades locais, profissionais da Saúde e membros da comunidade, que celebraram juntos a inauguração das novas instalações. Os espaços foram projetados para oferecer mais conforto, acessibilidade e eficiência no atendimento, além de ampliar a capacidade de serviços especializados, como Fisioterapia e Reabilitação.
Além da entrega das estruturas, o evento foi acompanhado por ações de promoção da Saúde e engajamento comunitário. Atividades educativas, orientações sobre prevenção de doenças e Serviços Básicos de Saúde foram disponibilizados à população, fortalecendo o vínculo entre os profissionais e os moradores.
Com essa iniciativa – a realização da I Feira de Saúde – Igaporã dá mais um passo rumo à valorização da Saúde Pública e ao bem-estar coletivo, reafirmando o papel da gestão municipal na construção de uma cidade mais saudável e participativa.
Igaporã promove inclusão e bem-estar em Feira de Saúde com 2 mil atendimentos
Entre a sexta (29) e o domingo (30), a Secretaria Municipal de Saúde realizou a I Feira de Saúde, uma iniciativa voltada à promoção da Saúde Preventiva e ao acesso gratuito a serviços médicos para a população. O evento aconteceu na nova sede da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde – que estava sendo entregue à população – e do UBS Centro (Unidade Básica de Saúde do centro da cidade), localizados na Praça do Baco, contando com apoio da Policlínica Regional do Alto Sertão, sediada em Guanambi, , por meio de uma Unidade Móvel de Exames Oftalmológicos (Medição de Pressão Ocular, Mapeamento de Retina, Teste do Olhinho, Refração Completa, Fundoscopia, Acuidade Visual, Ceratometria Computadorizada, Retinografia, Avaliação de Catarata [Capsulotomia], Avaliação de Pterígio e Limpeza de Lentes [Yag Laser]).
A ação, organizada pela Secretaria Municipal da Saúde, teve por objetivo proporcionar à população atendimentos médicos especializados, exames preventivos e orientações em Saúde, promovendo bem-estar, melhoria da qualidade de vida e um cuidado mais próximos dos cidadãos.
Durante a Feira, os moradores tiveram acesso a consultas médicas, oftalmológico e odontológicas, incluindo atendimento com Psicólogo, Fisioterapeuta e Nutricionista, realização de procedimentos – entre os quais a aferição de Pressão Arterial, Testes de Glicemia, Exames Rápidos para HIV e Sífilis – alémde orientações sobre prevenção de doenças.
Segundo a secretária municipal da Saúde, Laise Fagundes Farias, a realização da Feira é parte de uma série de ações que visam garantir o atendimento contínuo à comunidade e refletem a preocupação do prefeito Newton Francisco (Neto) Neves Cotrim, do PT.
A secretária Laise Fagundes Farias celebrou a entrega da nova estrutura física da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde e do Centro Municipal de Fisioterapia, além do sucesso da I Feira de Saúde, que realizou mais de 1.990 atendimentos gratuitos à população, dos quais 540 exames oftalmológicos nos dias que antecederam a realização do evento, o que representa um marco na promoção da Saúde Preventiva e no fortalecimento da Atenção Básica no município. Ela apontou que os quase dois mil atendimentos realizados são mais que estatísticas, que cada número representa uma pessoa que recebeu atenção e cuidado. “Esses quase 2 mil atendimentos representam muito mais do que números. São vidas que foram acolhidas, orientadas e cuidadas. A Feira mostrou que, mesmo diante de desafios, é possível garantir acesso digno à saúde para todos”, afirmou a secretária.
“A adesão da comunidade foi surpreendente. Isso mostra que quando o serviço público se aproxima das pessoas, os resultados aparecem. Vamos continuar promovendo Feiras como essa para que ninguém fique desassistido”, completou.
Autoridades destacam importância da Feira de Saúde para a comunidade
Durante a realização da I Feira de Saúde, diversas autoridades municipais ressaltaram o impacto positivo da iniciativa na vida da população. Com quase 2 mil atendimentos realizados, o evento foi considerado um marco na Promoção da Saúde Preventiva e no fortalecimento da Atenção Básica.
O prefeito Newton Francisco – Neto – Neves Cotrim (PT), que acompanhou toda a programação, elogiou o comprometimento e engajamento da equipe de Saúde: “A Feira é uma demonstração clara do compromisso da gestão com o bem-estar da nossa gente. Trouxemos serviços essenciais para perto da população, e os resultados falam por si”, pontuou o gestor.
O prefeito ressaltou que, além do empenho das equipes da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, gestores e servidores de diversas outras Secretarias Municipais e a Câmara Municipal também se mobilizaram para garantir o êxito da ação. Segundo ele, a iniciativa reflete o compromisso do Governo Municipal em atuar de forma integrada e contínua na busca por melhores condições e qualidade de vida para os moradores de Igaporã.
O presidente da Câmara Municipal, Waldir Pires Ribeiros de Barros (PT), que esteve presente, juntamente com outros membros do Legislativo Municipal, acompanhando o trabalho desenvolvido pelas equipes de Saúde no atendimento à população, destacou o impacto da iniciativa para os moradores do município. Segundo o vereador petista, a iniciativa reforça o compromisso do poder público com a Promoção da Saúde e o cuidado com a comunidade. “A Feira de Saúde é uma ação concreta que aproxima os serviços essenciais da população. Ver centenas de pessoas sendo atendidas, recebendo orientação e cuidado, mostra que estamos no caminho certo. A Câmara Municipal apoia e incentiva iniciativas como essa, que fazem a diferença na vida das pessoas”, pontuou o presidente, acrescentando que Saúde deve ser – e em Igaporã é – uma prioridade, e quando a Administração Municipal trabalha junto com o Legislativo, consegue-se resultados como os que foram conseguidos nos três dias do evento. “A Feira (de Saúde) mostrou-se um exemplo de gestão eficiente e sensível às necessidades da população”.
Também prestigiando a Feira de Saúde, o Assessor Parlamentar do Senador da República Jaques Wagner (PT/BA), Lucas Araújo dos Reis, salientou que o prefeito Newton Cotrim (Neto) tem se destacado por seu trabalho contínuo em tornar Igaporã uma cidade cada vez mais justa e acolhedora para seus moradores. Destacou ainda a importância da parceria do Governo Municipal com os Governos Federal e do Estado, reforçando que o Senador Jaques Wagner tem-se se esforçado para assegurar recursos e obras reivindicadas pelo gestor para atender a demandas da população. Lucas Reis aproveitou para anunciar novos investimentos para o município. “Trago uma importante notícia para a população de Igaporã. O Senador Jaques Wagner conseguiu garantir o compromisso do Governo do Estado, através da Secretaria Estadual de Saúde, para renovar e ampliar os equipamentos das Unidades Básicas de Saúde, além de reformar as estruturas em parte dos prédios das UBSs que integram o Programa Saúde da Família”, anunciou.
Populares atendidos ressaltam importância da Feira de Saúde em Igaporã
Ouvidos pela reportagem do JS, moradores que participaram da I Feira de Saúde em Igaporã fizeram questão de destacar a relevância da iniciativa para a comunidade. Com mais de 1.900 atendimentos realizados, o evento foi considerado um verdadeiro alívio para quem enfrenta dificuldades de acesso aos Serviços Básicos de Saúde.
A dona de casa ANA PAULA DE SOUZA PEREIRA, 40 anos, moradora do Bairro Alto do Cruzeiro, comentou sobre a oportunidade de realizar exames que há meses aguardava para serem feitos: “Considero a Feira de Saúdecomo uma iniciativa extremamente importante, pois facilita e amplia o acesso da população a diversos serviços essenciais. Por conta dos meus horários de trabalho, tenho dificuldade para realizar as sessões de Fisioterapia durante a semana. Com a realização da Feira, consegui aproveitar a oportunidade para fazer as sessões e também realizar exames importantes, como o Teste de Glicemia”.
Já SIDINEIDE DA SILVA, 52 anos, moradora da Comunidade da Cerquinha, Zona Rural: “A Feira de Saúde desempenha um papel essencial na prevenção de diversas doenças e contribui significativamente para a redução das filas de espera por atendimentos. Estou sendo atendida com uma consulta Oftalmológica que, em condições normais, exigiria deslocamento até Guanambi. Ações como essa são extremamente importantes, pois ajudam a identificar precocemente problemas oculares que, sem diagnóstico, podem levar à perda da visão. Assim como os Mutirões de Mamografia, que permitem antecipar diagnósticos e iniciar tratamentos com mais agilidade, essas programações deveriam acontecer ao menos uma vez por ano. São iniciativas que realmente salvam vidas”.
