O percentual de famílias com dívidas, em atraso ou não, ficou em 78,1% em janeiro deste ano. A taxa ficou acima dos 77,6% de dezembro e dos 78% de janeiro de 2023. Dados são da Pesquisa de Endividamento e Inadimplência do Consumidor (Peic), divulgada nesta quinta-feira (1º) pela Confederação Nacional do Comércio de Bens, Serviços e Turismo (CNC).
A parcela de famílias inadimplentes, isto é, aquelas endividadas que têm contas e dívidas em atraso, recuou em janeiro. Os 28,3% registrados no mês são o menor percentual desde março de 2022. Em janeiro de 2023, a taxa havia sido 29,9%, enquanto em dezembro, ficou em 28,8%.
O total de famílias que não terão condição de pagar suas contas ficou em 12% em janeiro deste ano, abaixo dos 12,2% de dezembro, mas acima dos 11,6% de janeiro de 2023.
As famílias com renda de cinco a dez salários mínimos foram as únicas com redução no endividamento. Por outro lado, também foi a única faixa de renda com aumento da inadimplência.
Por meio de nota divulgada à imprensa, o presidente da CNC, José Roberto Tadros, afirmou que, de uma forma geral, a pesquisa de janeiro mostra um cenário positivo para este ano.
“As pessoas estão conseguindo, aos poucos, quitar suas dívidas para contrair outras e adquirir novos produtos, planejar viagens, enfim, voltar a consumir com mais fôlego”, destacou Tadros.
Entre os principais responsáveis pelo endividamento do consumidor estão o cartão de crédito (86,8%), os carnês (16,2%), o crédito pessoal (9,7%) e os financiamentos de casa e de carro (8,4%).
