Endividamento das mulheres é maior do que entre os homens

O percentual de famílias inadimplentes, aquelas com dívidas em atraso, atingiu 30% em setembro. É a primeira vez que o índice chega a esse percentual e, portanto, é o valor mais alto da série histórica da pesquisa iniciada em 2010 pela Confederação Nacional do Comércio de Bens, Serviços e Turismo (CNC).
Em agosto, o número de inadimplentes subiu para 29,6%. Na comparação com setembro de 2021, o indicador cresceu 4,5 pontos percentuais, já que o percentual era de 25,5% na ocasião.
A parcela de famílias endividadas, ou seja, com qualquer dívida (em atraso ou não) também bateu recorde no país em setembro: 79,3%. Em agosto, o percentual era de 79%. Em setembro do ano passado, 74%.
O endividamento das famílias mais pobres, ou seja, aquelas que ganham menos de dez salários mínimos, chegou a 80,3%. É a primeira vez que a parcela supera os 80%. “Embora os atrasos tenham crescido no mês e no ano entre os consumidores nas duas faixas de renda, as dificuldades de pagamento de todos os compromissos do mês são mais latentes entre as famílias de menor renda”, disse a economista da CNC Izis Ferreira.
Entre as mulheres, o percentual de endividamento é maior (80,9%) do que entre os homens (78,2%).
As famílias que não têm condições de pagar suas dívidas ficaram em 10,7%, abaixo dos 10,8% de agosto, mas acima dos 10,3% de setembro do ano passado.
Entre os tipos de dívida que mais cresceram em relação a setembro do ano passado estão cartões de crédito (que subiu de 84,6% para 85,6% do total de dívidas), carnês de loja (de 18,8% para 19,4%) e cheque especial (de 4,6% para 5,2%).
