Em agosto, expansão foi de 0,2%

A produção da indústria brasileira cresceu 1,1% em setembro deste ano em relação a agosto. Essa é a segunda alta consecutiva porque em agosto a expansão havia sido de 0,2%. A Pesquisa Industrial Mensal (PIM) foi divulgada nesta sexta-feira (1º), no Rio de Janeiro, pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE).
A indústria também apresentou expansão na comparação com setembro do ano passado (3,4%), a quarta alta consecutiva, e nos acumulados do ano (3,1%) e de 12 meses (2,6%).
As principais altas em setembro – na comparação com agosto – vieram dos setores de coque, produtos derivados do petróleo e biocombustíveis (4,3%), produtos alimentícios (2,3%), veículos automotores, reboques e carrocerias (2,5%), produtos do fumo (36,5%), metalurgia (2,4%) e máquinas, aparelhos e materiais elétricos (3,3%). No total, 12 dos 25 ramos industriais pesquisados apresentaram crescimento.
Queda
Ao mesmo tempo, 12 setores tiveram queda, com destaque para indústrias extrativas (-1,3%), produtos químicos (-2,7%), outros equipamentos de transporte (-7,8%) e produtos farmoquímicos e farmacêuticos (-3,7%). Produtos de borracha e material plástico apresentaram estabilidade na produção.
Três das quatro grandes categorias econômicas da indústria cresceram de agosto para setembro: bens de capital, isto é, máquinas e equipamentos usados no setor produtivo (4,2%), bens intermediários (insumos industrializados usados no setor produtivo (1,2%) e bens de consumo semi e não duráveis (0,6%). Apenas o segmento de bens de consumo duráveis teve queda (-2,7%).
