O mais recente Boletim InfoGripe da Fiocruz aponta que a incidência de Síndrome Respiratória Aguda Grave (SRAG) segue em nível de alerta, risco ou alto risco, com tendência de crescimento em 18 as 27 Unidades da Federação. O documento também mostra que as hospitalizações por SRAG nas crianças pequenas, associados ao Vírus Sincicial Respiratório (VSR), seguem em alta em vários Estados das regiões Centro-Sul, Nordeste e Norte.
Os Estados que compõem a lista são de todas as regiões do país, com predominância de Estados das regiões Norte, Nordeste e Sudeste. Confira o mapa com as 18 UFs no final da página.
Apesar do aumento, o Boletim informa que há um sinal de interrupção do crescimento ou início de queda de internações de crianças em Estados do Centro-Oeste e do Sudeste e em alguns do Norte e Nordeste.
Conforme a FioCruz, a incidência de SRAG apresenta maior impacto nas crianças pequenas. Já em relação à análise de mortalidade, as crianças pequenas e os idosos apresentam os maiores valores.
No Brasil, a Influenza A se mantém como principal causa de internações de jovens, adultos e idosos, com maior incidência e número de mortes entre a população idosa.
A atualização do Boletim mostra que em alguns estados do Centro-Oeste, como GO, DF e MS, e do Sudeste, sendo SP e ES, além do TO, também apresentam incidência de SRAG em nível de risco ou alto risco, mas com tendência de queda – apesar do número de hospitalizações ainda permanecer alto. Pelo boletim, essas UFs apresentaram tendência de recuo de casos nas últimas semanas, tendo como resultado o começo da redução das hospitalizações associadas à Influenza A e VSR nesses Estados.
A pesquisadora Tatiana Portella, do Programa de Computação Científica da Fiocruz e do InfoGripe, destaca a importância da vacinação, especialmente para as pessoas do grupo de risco, como idosos e pessoas com comorbidades.
“É muito importante que as pessoas, principalmente dos grupos de risco, como idosos, crianças e pessoas com comorbidades, grávidas, estejam em dia com a vacina contra o vírus, já que esse grupo tem uma chance maior de desenvolver a forma mais grave da doença e precisar de hospitalização”, alerta a Especialista.
Cenário epidemiológico no país
O documento identificou, ainda, que 14 das 27 capitais apresentam nível de atividade de SRAG em alerta, risco ou alto risco – relacionado às últimas duas semanas – com sinal de crescimento de SRAG na tendência de longo prazo, ou seja, as últimas seis semanas até a semana 24. As capitais são: Aracajú (SE), Belo Horizonte (MG), Boa Vista (RR), Curitiba (PR), Florianópolis (SC), Goiânia (GO), João Pessoa (PB), Maceió (AL), Manaus (AM), Porto Velho (RO), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Salvador (BA), São Luís (MA) e Teresina (PI).
Nas quatro últimas Semanas Epidemiológicas, o Boletim aponta que a Influenza A prevaleceu entre os casos positivos, com 39,2%. Já a Influenza B teve apenas 0,8% de casos positivos. Por outro lado, 45% foram de Vírus Sincicial Respiratório, 17,7% de Rinovírus e 1,6% de Sars-CoV-2 (Covid-19).
Entre os óbitos, 74,6% foram por Influenza A, 0,8% Influenza B, 13% de Vírus Sincicial Respiratório, 9,7% de Rinovírus e 4,2% de Sars-CoV-2 (Covid-19).
Confira as 18 das 27 UFs que apresentam incidência de SRAG em nível de alerta, risco ou alto risco com sinal de crescimento na tendência de longo prazo:
Em 2025 já foram notificados 103.108 casos de SRAG, 51,3% com resultado laboratorial positivo para algum Vírus Respiratório. Entre os casos positivos, 25,7% foram de Influenza A.
