O mais recente Boletim InfoGripe da Fiocruz, divulgado na última quinta-feira (27/3), alerta para o início da tendência de aumento da circulação dos vírus respiratórios nas próximas semanas. Nas últimas edições, foi apontado o crescimento de casos graves do Vírus Sincicial Respiratório (VSR), especialmente na região Centro-Oeste, com a incidência atingindo níveis altos ou muito altos. O estudo refere-se à Semana Epidemiológica (SE) 12, de 16 a 22 de março.
A pesquisadora Tatiana Portela, do InfoGripe e do Programa de Processo de Computação Científica, informa que se trata de um crescimento sazonal. Além disso, a pesquisadora esclarece que além do VSR, é muito provável que, em breve, haja um aumento do vírus da influenza.
Apesar da sazonalidade, Portela ressalta que estar vacinado é essencial para evitar casos graves. É importante ressaltar que a campanha de vacinação começa no dia 7 de abril.
Conforme a especialista, é importante que todas as pessoas elegíveis busquem um posto de saúde para se vacinar e, assim, preparar o sistema imunológico para enfrentar a temporada de aumento do vírus da influenza que deve ocorrer.
No atual cenário, a análise aponta crescimento de VSR em níveis de incidência moderada na Região Sudeste, principalmente em São Paulo, Minas Gerais e Espírito Santo. O Acre também já sinaliza aumento dos casos graves de VSR.
Cenário nacional de SRAG
O Boletim aponta que, no agregado nacional, é observado um sinal de aumento na tendência de longo prazo, sendo nas últimas 6 semanas, e de curto prazo, nas últimas 3 semanas. O cenário é atribuído principalmente ao crescimento da Síndrome Respiratória Aguda Grave (SRAG) nas crianças pequenas de até dois anos em muitos estados do país.
Conforme a publicação, nove das 27 UFs apresentam incidência de SRAG em nível de alerta, risco ou alto risco, com tendência de crescimento na tendência de longo prazo até a semana 12, sendo nos estados do Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Distrito Federal, Maranhão, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Rondônia e Roraima.
Já outros estados das regiões Norte e Centro-Oeste, como Mato Grosso, Tocantins e Goiás, também apresentam incidência de SRAG em níveis de alerta ou risco, porém com sinal de estabilização ou oscilação na tendência de longo prazo. Porém, TO e GO ainda apresentam crescimento de SRAG em crianças de até dois anos.
Nas quatro últimas SEs, a prevalência entre os casos positivos foi de 6,2% de influenza A, 1,5% de influenza B, 38,9% de vírus sincicial respiratório, 34,9% de rinovírus e 20,8% de Sars-CoV-2 (Covid-19). Entre os óbitos, a prevalência foi de 8,5% de influenza A, 3% de influenza B, 3% de vírus sincicial respiratório, 11% de rinovírus, e 68,5% de Sars-CoV-2 (Covid-19).
Em 2025, já foram notificados 24.635 casos de SRAG, sendo 9.336 (37,9%) com resultado laboratorial positivo para algum vírus respiratório. Entre os casos positivos, 6% foram de influenza A, 2,1% de influenza B, 23,1% de vírus sincicial respiratório, 28,8% de rinovírus e 36,5% de Sars-CoV-2 (Covid-19).
