O frio chegou.
É o inverno que dá sinais de sua presença. É, estamos no outono, nem meados de junho, mas o frio acabou de chegar. Aquele tempinho bom de colocar uma roupa mais quente, fazer pão em casa e deixar aquele cheirinho delicioso tomar a casa inteira, junto com o cheiro do café feito na hora, aquelas sopas maravilhosas que em outras épocas a gente não tem oportunidade de degustar, o chá perfumado e fumegante, chocolate quente, bolinho de chuva, pão de queijo com café bem quente, etc., etc. Tempo de se aconchegar com os nossos entes mais queridos, com a família, com os amigos, pois na casa da gente ou na casa dos outros, é muito bom nos reunirmos, nos aproximarmos mais, nos conhecermos melhor. Tempo de colocar todos à volta da mesa para convivermos mais, para confraternizarmos. O frio antecede a sua estação, e a gente já começa a esperar a chegada da tainha, o prato principal do inverno, aqui em Santa Catarina e em todo o sul. Os cardumes vêm em junho, quando são pescadas toneladas, e elas já deram a cara por aqui. Já disse, em outra oportunidade, que inverno sem tainha não é inverno e o fato de ter esfriado nos traz a presença da vedete das nossas mesas nos dias frios do litoral.
Então, um caldo de tainha, uma tainha recheada, uma cambira… Amanhã vou ao mercado, mesmo que chova e faça frio, para comprar tainhas, camarão e ovas para fazer algumas recheadas e guardar no freezer, para comer com a mãe, com a família e com amigos. E do resto faço cambira – tainha escalada, salgada e seca no sol. Se não fizer sol, guardo elas já salgadas na geladeira, até que tenhamos tempo bom de novo. E, claro, reservo uma ou duas para fritar e fazer um caldo que, como já disse, é tudo de bom, também. Inverno é assim, aqui no litoral de Santa Catarina: frio com tainha, flores de jacatirão manacá-da-serra, cor e luz. Se não der tainha, é inverno pela metade. Abençoada terra, abençoado mar, abençoada natureza, que tão maltratada por nós, a despeito de nosso desrespeito para com ela, nos presenteia com o que ela tem de melhor. Não é à toa que ela é chamada de Mãe Natureza.
