O Brasil ainda enfrenta desafios alarmantes na luta contra a violência de gênero. Dados da Legião da Boa Vontade (LBV), apontam que das 638 mulheres e meninas atendidas no programa SER Mulher, realizado pela Instituição, 68% delas sofreram violência psicológica e 47% tiveram agressões físicas. A falta de apoio e de informação ainda impedem muitas mulheres de romperem o ciclo da violência.
Desde 2022, a LBVvem oferecendo esse apoio psicossocial e emocional para o público feminino. O serviço oferece até 30 atendimentos psicoterapêuticos semanais on-line e gratuitos, além de orientação social e jurídica.
Muitas mulheres que recorrem à Instituição chegam em estado de vulnerabilidade emocional, vítimas de relações abusivas e outras violências, além da falta de uma rede de apoio. Por meio do programa Ser Mulher, elas recebem suporte para elaborar vivências traumáticas, melhorar a autoestima, desenvolver autonomia e novos projetos de vida, além de prevenir e/ou romper situações de violência. “O programa fez total diferença na minha vida. (…) Porque eu não tinha nenhum recurso, eu não tinha ajuda, eu não tinha apoio. E eu acho que o mais me doía, era ninguém ter me ouvido (…) e eu me senti ouvida”, relatou B.G. (36 anos), atendida pela Instituição. Ela enfrentou ainda uma série de desafios, incluindo a necessidade de superar traumas emocionais causados por relações abusivas. O programa também ofereceu a oportunidade de ressignificar sua trajetória por meio do apoio psicoterapêutico e de orientações jurídicas, elementos fundamentais na sua recuperação.
