Na última terça-feira (15), em duas Sessões consecutivas do Legislativo Municipal de Bom Jesus da Lapa, os vereadores aprovaram por unanimidade o Projeto de Lei do Executivo Municipal que autoriza o prefeito Eures Ribeiro Pereira (PSD) a destinar o montante de R$ 12.167.371,30, recursos oriundos do Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica e de Valorização dos Profissionais da Educação (Fundef) para o pagamento de profissionais da Educação, incluindo ativos e inativos.
O Projeto de Lei atendeu a um acordo celebrado pela Prefeitura Municipal com o Ministério Público Federal, no contexto da Ação Civil Pública de nº 0002437-36.2016.4.01.3315, referente ao Precatório do Fundef (Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento da Educação Fundamental e de Valorização do Magistério), decorrente de Processo Judicial em trâmite na Vara Federal da Subseção Judiciária Federal de Guanambi.
Espera-se que, com a aprovação do Projeto, o município tenha condições de prosseguir com os trâmites legais junto ao Ministério Público Federal e a Justiça Federal visando à liberação dos recursos, o que permitirá o repasse aos profissionais contemplados.
A medida deve beneficiar milhares de Professores, Coordenadores, Diretores e demais profissionais que atuam na Educação Municipal. Profissionais ativos poderão receber seus salários de forma mais regular, enquanto os aposentados e inativos terão seus atrasados quitados, evitando assim prejuízos financeiros e fortalecendo a valorização da carreira. O valor será distribuído proporcionalmente ao tempo de serviço de cada profissional, considerando a carga horária no período. O pagamento será realizado por meio de folha suplementar, facilitando o controle da operação.
Profissionais da Educação e lideranças sindicais da categoria comemoraram a aprovação do Projeto de Lei, ressaltando a importância de garantir recursos para a remuneração dos educadores. “Essa é uma vitória para toda a comunidade escolar, que agora vê uma alternativa viável para resolver questões financeiras pendentes e valorizar quem dedica sua vida à formação de nossas crianças e adolescentes”, afirmou ao JS, sob reserva, um professor da rede pública municipal de Ensino.
A aprovação do Projeto de Lei, que aguarda a sanção do prefeito Eures Ribeiro Pereira (PSD), representa um passo decisivo na modernização da Administração Pública. A iniciativa reflete o compromisso da gestão em enfrentar desafios financeiros e fortalecer o setor educacional do município. Segundo o prefeito, a medida reforça a valorização dos profissionais da Educação e contribui diretamente para a melhoria da qualidade do Ensino oferecido à comunidade, objetivos que, em suas palavras, são inegociáveis.
