O presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva defendeu, durante entrevista às rádios Metrópole e Sociedade, da Bahia, uma discussão ampla com a sociedade em busca de regulação do ambiente digital. Segundo ele, o exercício da liberdade de expressão exige responsabilidade, assim como ocorre em publicações impressas, na televisão e no rádio.
Eu sou daqueles que defende a regulação com a participação da sociedade, porque ninguém quer proibir a liberdade de expressão. Quanto mais liberdade de expressão, mais responsabilidade de expressão”

Lula citou o Congresso Nacional e a Suprema Corte como ambientes em que esse debate pode ser travado. “ O nosso Congresso Nacional tem responsabilidade e vai ter que colocar isso para regular. Se não for o caso, a Suprema Corte vai ter que regular, porque é preciso moralizar”, disse.
DEMOCRACIA – Um dos desdobramentos da falta de regulação das redes, segundo o presidente, é a fragilização da democracia. Para ele, a defesa desse valor precisa ser prioridade nas discussões no país e no cenário internacional. “A democracia está perdendo respeito para o extremismo. Para pessoas muito irresponsáveis. O negacionismo elevado à quinta potência. Não existe possibilidade de você ter um governo que atenda os interesses da sociedade se a gente não tiver um regime democrático. Com o Executivo funcionando corretamente, o Legislativo, as instituições, a Suprema Corte e o Poder Judiciário funcionando”, ponderou.
ALTERNÂNCIA – Para o presidente, a democracia garante não só a alternância de poder, mas as condições para melhorar as condições de vida da sociedade. “É na democracia que a gente consegue eleger e ‘deseleger’. Consegue eleger um preto e um branco. Um trabalhador e um empresário. É na democracia que a gente tem a verdadeira alternância de poder. Somente a democracia permite que o mundo viva decentemente e bem”, disse.

thoughts prior to writing. I’ve had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my
thoughts out. I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are
generally lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips?
