Há pessoas que acreditam na partida inexorável de uma mãe. Mas mãe não parte. Mãe é aquela figura que morre para todos, porém vive no coração dos filhos. Quem tem o conforto de mãe, tem a hóstia direta de Deus. É assim que se vê a dor no amor, construindo conversas, imaginando imagens e sonhando com aquela progenitora amada e inesquecível. Quando uma mãe vai embora, ela tece saudades no colo do filho: mãe dá colo, filho dá colo e se revezam na dança e no mistério do amor.
Uma mãe parte sem se esperar. Sempre há esperança na vida daquela que respira. Assim, se a mãe interrompe a respiração, interrompem todos os sinos que poderiam estar batendo pela vida terrena, vibrante, colorida de quem segue.
Aceitar isso como uma morte, como um fim, é inconcebível. Mas, o corpo inerte está ali e nunca mais ela respirará ao lado do filho. Ele quer abraçá-la, mas resta a imagem fria e endurecida. Como abrir seus olhos? Fazer com que no revés até o bercinho que gangorreava em criança, na bola que chutava e derrubava os enfeites da casa, nos gritos que dava com a turma no “quintal” existem as faces da mãe?
Agora é viver o luto máximo, colocar o corpo tão cheio de rezas na terra. Como diz Chico Buarque “Não é cova grande é cova medida”. É o que vinga a vida, a cova, o luto, a tristeza, a dor infinita. Com a despedida, chora-se o lamento, a perda, o cansaço dos olhos insones. Os lamentos, os cantos, os beijos que não mais respondem. Lá se vai a mãe, como se nunca tivesse deixado de existir. Mas é o amor que embala aquele restinho de tempo que nutre as visões, os apelos, a saudade.
Na volta para o lar, o filho chora e enxerga os vazios dos corredores da casa, os tapetes sem vida, os pés branquinhos de sua mãe. Ela está ali. Mas o filho não a enxerga. São seus passos largos que dão volta nos cantos da ausência.
E os dias vão seguindo na transformação do amor de filho para a mãe que, mesmo assim, não deixa de crescer.
