A partir deste domingo (7), o transporte intermunicipal será suspenso em Boa Nova, Boninal, Brotas de Macaúbas, Caém, Carinhanha, Chorrochó, Iramaia, Itarantim, Itororó, Maracás, Medeiros Neto, Planalto, São Gabriel, Tanque Novo, Teolândia, Tremedal e Uibaí.
A decisão tem o objetivo de conter o avanço do Coronavírus na população baiana. Ficam proibidas nesses municípios a circulação, saída e chegada de qualquer transporte coletivo público e privado, rodoviário e hidroviário, nas modalidades regular, fretamento, complementar, alternativo e de vans.
A decisão foi publicada neste sábado (6), em Decreto no Diário Oficial do Estado (DOE), que também autoriza a retomada do transporte em Lapão, cidade com 14 dias ou mais sem novos casos de Covid-19.

No total, 310 municípios estão com o transporte suspenso na Bahia.
