Mais de mil lideranças comunitárias quilombolas participaram, no sábado (27), do II Fórum Quilombola do Sudoeste de Emendas Participativas, promovido pelos mandatos dos deputados Waldenor Alves Pereira Filho (federal) e José Raimundo Fontes (estadual), ambos do PT baiano. O evento foi realizado na Quadra Poliesportiva do Colégio Estadual de Tempo Integral Padre Luís Soares Palmeira, em Vitória da Conquista,
Além dos debates e das deliberações, o evento foi marcado por um clima de confraternização e valorização da cultura afro-brasileira, com apresentações de grupo de capoeira.
Durante o encontro, os parlamentares anunciaram mais de R$ 3,5 milhões em investimentos voltados às comunidades quilombolas do Sudoeste baiano. Do total, R$ 1,5 milhão foi aplicado no ano passado na compra de equipamentos agrícolas, veículos e kits de economia solidária. Para este ano, os mandatos ampliaram os recursos, destinando outros R$ 2 milhões para novas ações e aquisição de equipamentos.
A iniciativa reforça o modelo de gestão participativa adotado pelos deputados Waldenor Pereira e Zé Raimundo, no qual as próprias comunidades beneficiadas definem, em plenária, por meio de delegados, as prioridades para aplicação dos recursos públicos. O formato garante transparência, controle social e maior eficiência na execução das emendas parlamentares.
Durante o fórum, o deputado estadual Zé Raimundo reafirmou o compromisso dos mandatos com a promoção da igualdade e da justiça social. ‘Estamos aqui mais uma vez nos comprometendo a continuar aplicando recursos do Orçamento Federal e Estadual para fortalecer comunidades que historicamente foram discriminadas e esquecidas’, declarou.
O deputado federal Waldenor Pereira ressaltou o caráter inovador e reparador da iniciativa, destacando que o II Fórum das Comunidades Quilombolas do Sudoeste representa uma reparação histórica ao povo negro, ao permitir que as próprias comunidades definam, em plenária, o destino dos recursos oriundos de emendas participativas.
Na ocasião, Waldenor anunciou novas ações voltadas à valorização da cultura e da produção quilombola. Entre elas, estão o apoio à realização de cinco Feiras Agroculturais, a construção de 50 Quintais Produtivos e a dedicação da edição deste ano da FliConquista (Feira de Livros de Vitória da Conquista) à valorização da cultura negra.
Ao promover o segundo fórum, os deputados reafirmaram o compromisso dos mandatos com a construção de políticas públicas em diálogo permanente com as comunidades. A iniciativa busca fortalecer a agricultura familiar, a economia solidária, a cultura, a geração de renda e a cidadania dos povos quilombolas do Sudoeste baiano.
