Durante a sessão da Câmara Municipal desta quarta-feira (8), a vereadora Márcia Viviane de Araújo Sampaio (PT) abordou temas centrais para Vitória da Conquista. Em seu pronunciamento a vereadora petista celebrou a chegada de novas Unidades de Saúde ao município, fruto de parcerias entre Governos Federal e Estadual, e manifestou preocupação com os índices de violência contra a mulher na Bahia.
Márcia Viviane lembrou o Dia Mundial da Saúde, comemorado em 7 de abril, e informou sobre a visita técnica de representantes da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia para vistoria de terrenos destinados à construção de novas Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBS). Entre os Bairros contemplados, apontou a vereadora, estão Parque da Primavera, Loteamento Porto Seguro, Conveima, Patagônia, Miro Cairo, Simão e Cabeceira do Jibóia.
Segundo a parlamentar, os investimentos representam um esforço conjunto para reduzir gargalos históricos no atendimento especializado. “Infelizmente, sabemos que o maior gargalo nos municípios é a Média e a Alta Complexidade. Esse Programa do Governo Federal é fundamental para garantir acesso à Saúde com qualidade”, afirmou.
A vereadora também trouxe à pauta a violência contra mulheres, relatando um caso de feminicídio ocorrido em Itapitanga, onde uma jovem de 23 anos e seu filho de 6 anos foram assassinados. Ela destacou que a Bahia ocupa o quarto lugar no ranking nacional de violência contra a mulher, com cinco casos de feminicídio registrados apenas até abril. “É uma situação alarmante que exige mobilização institucional”, disse.
Viviane Sampaio convocou os demais membros da Casa para se engajarem no Pacto pelo Fim do Feminicídio, lançado pelo Governo Federal. “Não é apenas uma pauta da bancada feminina, mas de toda a Câmara de Vereadores”, reforçou.
Encerrando sua fala, a vereadora defendeu a legitimidade das cobranças feitas ao Executivo, especialmente em relação à manutenção de estradas e à limpeza urbana após o período de chuvas. Ela reafirmou que seu mandato está comprometido com toda a cidade. “Somos representantes da população de Vitória da Conquista, seja na zona rural ou urbana. Nosso mandato está aberto a todas as demandas da comunidade, independentemente da quantidade de votos recebidos em cada localidade”, concluiu.
