O Ministério Público da Bahia emitiu, na última sexta-feira (30), uma Recomendação à Prefeitura Municipal de Matina, orientando a Administração Municipal a adotar medidas rigorosas na gestão dos recursos públicos destinados aos festejos juninos. A Recomendação foi subscrita pelo Promotor de Justiça Daniel Meireles Aberceb, que destacou a importância de garantir a transparência, legalidade e moralidade na realização das festas tradicionais.
De acordo com o documento, é fundamental que a Prefeitura Municipal observe princípios básicos da Administração Pública, como a Legalidade, Impessoalidade, Moralidade, Publicidade e Eficiência. Essas diretrizes visam assegurar que os recursos utilizados nos festejos sejam aplicados de forma adequada, evitando desvios e irregularidades.
O Promotor de Justiça Daniel Meireles Aberceb ressaltou a necessidade de uma gestão transparente, com controle rigoroso dos gastos e prestação de contas clara à sociedade. Além disso, recomendou que a Prefeitura Municipal não realize despesas que não estejam previamente autorizadas por Lei e que as contratações relacionadas às festividades sejam feitas mediante processos seletivos transparentes.
A recomendação do Ministério Público da Bahia reforça o compromisso com a fiscalização e a boa gestão dos recursos públicos, garantindo que os festejos juninos de Matina sejam realizados de forma responsável, respeitando os princípios que norteiam a Administração Pública e promovendo o bem-estar da população local.

No entanto, fontes com livre trânsito na Administração Municipal, ouvidas sob condição de anonimato, expressaram a expectativa de que a gestora tome as providências necessárias para assegurar a regularidade e integridade dos festejos tradicionais do município.
