As exportações de bens e serviços cresceram 17,2% quando comparadas ao trimestre anterior e todos os componentes da exportação apresentaram alta no período. Os destaques ocorrem com as exportações de produtos da extrativa mineral e da agropecuária.
As importações também cresceram 7,3%. Todos os componentes da importação contribuíram positivamente para o aumento do índice, à exceção de produtos agropecuários. Entre os destaques, estão a importação de bens de consumo, que cresceram 28% no período.
A estimativa é de que o Produto Interno Bruto tenha sido de R$ 4 trilhões até maio.
