O cantor e compositor Lô Borges, nome artístico do belo-horizontino Salomão Borges Filho, faleceu na noite de domingo (2/11), aos 73 anos, em Belo Horizonte. Reconhecido como um dos fundadores do movimento musical Clube da Esquina, que revolucionou a música brasileira nos anos 1970 ao lado de nomes como Milton Nascimento, Fernando Brant, Beto Guedes, Toninho Horta e Wagner Tiso, Lô Borges deixa um legado de inovação e poesia sonora.
Segundo boletim médico divulgado pela Assessoria do Hospital da Unimed-BH, o artista morreu às 20h50 em decorrência de falência múltipla de órgãos. Ele estava internado desde o dia 17 de outubro, após apresentar um quadro de intoxicação medicamentosa.
Durante a internação, Lô Borges passou por Procedimentos Intensivos, incluindo Entubação e Traqueostomia. Apesar dos esforços médicos, seu estado de saúde se agravou nos últimos dias, culminando no óbito.
Natural de Belo Horizonte, Lô Borges deixa o filho Luca Arroyo Borges, de 27 anos. O velório será realizado nesta terça-feira (4/11), das 9h às 15h, no Palácio das Artes, onde fãs e admiradores poderão prestar suas últimas homenagens ao artista que marcou gerações com clássicos como “O Trem Azul” e “Um Girassol da Cor do Seu Cabelo”.
