A sala de aula virou sala de cinema! Nesta terça (6), as escolas municipais Manoel José Rodrigues do Prado, no Pradoso, e Erathósthenes Menezes, no Iguá, receberam parte da programação da Mostra Cinema Conquista, com a exibição dos filmes “A Retirada para um Coração Bruto” (Marco Antônio Pereira, 2017) e “Benzinho” (Gustavo Pizzi, 2016).
No distrito de Iguá, entre as espectadoras, estava uma ex-aluna da escola, hoje estudante de Letras da Uesb. “Eu tenho muita curiosidade pelos filmes nacionais, para conhecer mais. Eu assisto mais a filmes estrangeiros, mas percebo que os filmes produzidos aqui no Brasil são de muita qualidade”, afirmou Regiane Paiva. “Os filmes nacionais precisam ser mais vistos, falo isso por mim mesma, mas a mídia não valoriza tanto quanto às novelas, por exemplo”, completou.
Para a diretora da escola, Gilmara Silva, a Mostra é recebida com alegria na comunidade. “Os alunos e a comunidade abraçam a Mostra, que é um evento que vem só a contribuir para a cultura local. Essa é uma comunidade carente, que precisa muito desses eventos. A gente busca favorecer esses momentos em que a cultura vem até eles”, destaca.
“Os nossos alunos da zona rural não têm acesso ao cinema e aqui eles vão ter a oportunidade de conhecer essa arte, que é o cinema. Só tem a acrescentar para os alunos”, ressalta Maria do Carmo, vice-diretora da Escola José Rodrigues do Prado, no Pradoso.
Para o representante da Mostra Cinema Conquista, o coordenador da programação nos distritos, Vivaldo Leão (Sabiá), essa aproximação que o evento proporciona às comunidades rurais é muito importante. “Quando se tem o cinema que vem até as pessoas, dessa forma, é uma oportunidade única. O cinema hoje é só nos shoppings e tem pessoas que não vão nem ao shopping, então aqui, nas escolas, elas assistem a filmes que não chegam a passar na televisão”, afirma.
