É assim que Sofia Souza, concluinte do Ensino Médio e atualmente estudante para vestibular e Enem (Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio), conta como sua vida mudou a partir do momento em que começou a sua transição. A falta de apoio da família, a resistência em aceitá-la e a relação conflituosa e de violência com o pai não deixou outra alternativa à adolescente que, aos 16 anos, saiu de casa. “Ele me ameaçava, me xingava, usava palavras horríveis pra me ofender. Eu tive que recorrer à delegacia para poder fazer denúncia.”
