Estudo da Fiocruz avaliou dinâmica da imunização contra Covid-19

Um estudo da Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz) apontou que pouco mais de 11,3 milhões de doses de vacinas contra a Covid-19 foram aplicadas pelos municípios do País em moradores de outras cidades. De acordo com os pesquisadores da instituição, o planejamento das secretarias municipais de saúde e o cumprimento de metas acabam prejudicados com esse cenário. A situação também causa variações no percentual de imunizados nas diferentes cidades.
Os dados do estudo revelam que, a cada seis doses aplicadas no Brasil, uma foi destinada a indivíduos que vieram de uma cidade diferente. Na média, essas pessoas viajaram 252 quilômetros até o local em que foram vacinados.
A análise levou em conta os registros do sistema de informações do Plano Nacional de Imunização (PNI) em 16 de junho. Até essa data, eram contabilizadas 73,8 milhões de doses aplicadas no país. Dessa forma, os atendimentos a pessoas que vivem em outras cidades superam 15% do total.
