A nova Carteira de Identidade Nacional (CIN) chega a mais nove unidades do SAC no interior do Estado. A ampliação segue para os Pontos SAC Barra da Estiva, Boninal, Caetité, Capim Grosso, Curaçá, Ibicoara, Iraquara, Jaguarari e Maracás. O atendimento da CIN é realizado somente por agendamento prévio, que deve ser feito através do aplicativo ou portal ba.gov.br, ou pelo call center: (71) 4020-5353 (ligação de celular) ou 0800 071 5353 (ligação de fixo).
É importante destacar que, para realizar a implantação da CIN, a emissão do antigo RG ficou suspensa nestes Pontos SAC de 4 a 6 de novembro. Porém, o cidadão que já havia solicitado o documento pode ir buscá-lo na referida unidade, sem necessidade de agendamento. Basta apresentar o protocolo em mãos. A primeira via da CIN é gratuita e terá o Cadastro de Pessoa Física (CPF) como número único de identificação. Para fazer o documento é necessário apresentar a certidão de nascimento ou de estado civil (original). Caso a certidão original esteja plastificada é preciso levar também uma cópia.
Vale destacar que a CIN permite incluir outros números de documentos como CNH, carteira de trabalho, título de eleitor e certificado militar. Além disso, podem ser adicionadas também condições de saúde, como o Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) e deficiências auditiva, visual, física e intelectual; e até informações como tipo sanguíneo, fator RH e opção por ser doador de órgão. Outra novidade é a inclusão do nome social a pedido do próprio cidadão. Caso haja mudança de nome na certidão de nascimento fica valendo apenas este novo registro. A CIN também possui uma versão digital que estará disponível no GOV.BR três dias após a impressão. O documento ainda consta um QR Code para verificação da autenticidade e verificação de dados.
É importante ressaltar que os cidadãos não são obrigados a se dirigir imediatamente aos postos SAC para trocar de documento. O padrão antigo, o RG, tem validade até o dia 28 de fevereiro de 2032. A CIN tem validade de acordo com a faixa etária do cidadão: de 0 a 12 anos incompletos, validade de 5 anos; 12 a 60 anos incompletos, validade de 10 anos; acima de 60 anos, validade indeterminada. O atendimento da CIN já acontece em todos os postos SAC da capital, Região Metropolitana de Salvador (RMS) e nos 21 do interior; além de 30 Pontos SAC.
