Projetos geraram cerca de 2,18 milhões de postos de trabalho

Em 2022, o financiamento de projetos de habitação, saneamento básico e infraestrutura urbana com recursos do Fundo de Garantia do Tempo de Serviço (FGTS) beneficiou a mais de 2,91 milhões de pessoas em todo o Brasil, estimulando a criação de cerca de 2,18 milhões de postos de trabalho.
Embora já estivessem disponíveis, os dados relativos aos projetos executados com recursos do fundo foram detalhados pelo Ministério das Cidades, durante reunião do Conselho Curador do FGTS, na manhã desta terça-feira (25).

Dos R$ 83,788 bilhões do FGTS que o conselho autorizou o governo federal a investir em projetos habitacionais, de saneamento e infraestrutura urbana ao longo do ano passado, foram executados pouco mais de R$ 65,309 bilhões, ou 78% do valor total.
Na área habitacional, a execução chegou a 89%, totalizando um investimento de R$ 61,626 bilhões do orçamento total de R$ 68,870 bilhões, o que, segundo o Ministério das Cidades, fomentou a geração de 2.094.408 empregos e beneficiou a 383.366 famílias.
Considerando apenas o segmento habitacional popular, o resultado foi a produção de 370.826 unidades habitacionais, com uma execução de R$ 58,70 bilhões com destaque para a execução para as menores faixas de renda, do Grupo 1, rendimento de até R$ 2.400, e Grupo 2, rendimento de R$ 2.400 a R$ 4.400.
Outro destaque é a execução de 82% do orçamento destinado ao Pró-Cotista, a linha de financiamento habitacional com recursos do FGTS oferecida pelo Banco do Brasil e pela Caixa Econômica Federal a trabalhadores que têm contas vinculadas ao fundo.
Segundo o coordenador-geral de Gestão do FGTS e Colegiados, do Ministério das Cidades, Rogério Borges Marques, ao longo do ano passado foram investidos cerca de R$ 2,886 bilhões, ou 82% dos R$ 3,541 bilhões destinados ao Pró-Cotista. Com isso, foram atendidas 12.540 famílias e gerados 101.967 empregos.
Já a execução do montante destinado a projetos de saneamento básico alcançou, na média, apenas 37% do total previsto, o que equivale a pouco mais de R$ 1,739 bilhões dos R$ 4,70 bilhões.
Criado em 2005, para melhorar as condições de saúde e a qualidade de vida da população urbana e rural, o programa Saneamento Para Todos disponibiliza financiamento para empreendimentos do setor público ou privado.

Neste segmento, enquanto a execução do setor público – estados, municípios, Distrito Federal, concessionárias públicas de saneamento, consórcios públicos de direito público e empresas públicas não dependentes – atingiu 32%, enquanto a execução dos financiamentos contratados pelo setor privado totalizaram 50% do montante investido no setor.
“Em 2022, já começamos a observar o reflexo das medidas do Marco Legal do Saneamento. A tendência é que, em 2023, tenhamos uma execução ainda maior”, disse Marques, acrescentando que os investimentos em projetos que contaram com a participação da iniciativa privada beneficiaram a 1.779.759 pessoas em todo o Brasil.
