Durante o cumprimento de Mandados de Busca e Apreensão e Medidas Cautelares autorizadas pelo ministro do Supremo Tribunal Federal Kássio Nunes Marques, no âmbito da 4ª fase da Operação Overclean, os prefeitos de Boquira e de Ibipitanga, respectivamente Alan Machado França (PSD) e Humberto Raimundo – Beto – Rodrigues de Oliveira (PT), além de afastados dos cargos, receberam voz de prisão em flagrante por porte ilegal de armas de fogo (uma escopeta e um revólver, além de uma carga de munição), que foram apreendidas.
Os dois gestores foram encaminhados para a Delegacia Regional da Polícia Federal em Vitória da Conquista e tiveram a prisão relaxada com o pagamento de fiança.
O prefeito afastado de Boquira, Alan Machado França (PSD), através de Nota de Esclarecimento postada em suas redes sociais, disse ter sido surpreendido pela presença dos Agentes da Polícia Federal que cumpriram Mandados de Busca e Apreensão em sua residência e na sede da Prefeitura Municipal. Destacou que se encontrava em sua residência, ao lado da família, e que está buscando compreender, com serenidade e responsabilidade, os reais fundamentos da Operação Overclean, em conjunto com sua Assessoria Jurídica, para então prestar todos os esclarecimentos necessários, no momento e da forma apropriados.
Na Nota, o gestor afastado negou de forma enfática qualquer envolvimento em atos ilícitos, estendendo essa negativa também à sua equipe, especialmente no que diz respeito à aplicação de recursos provenientes de Emendas Parlamentares destinadas ao município. Reafirmou ainda seu compromisso com a transparência, a ética e o respeito às Instituições – princípios que, segundo ele, sempre nortearam sua trajetória na vida pública.
Alan Machado finalizou reiterando que está à disposição das autoridades e da população para colaborar no que for necessário, reforçando sua confiança na Justiça e no esclarecimento da verdade.
O prefeito afastado não fez qualquer referência à sua prisão por porte ilegal de armas.
Já o prefeito afastado de Ibipitanga, Humberto Raimundo – Beto – Rodrigues de Oliveira (PT), preferiu não fazer nenhuma manifestação pública.
