Portaria do MEC foi publicada nesta sexta no Diário Oficial da União

O Ministério da Educação (MEC) reajustou em 6,27% o Piso Salarial Profissional Nacional do magistério público da educação básica. O reajuste foi publicado hoje (31), no Diário Oficial da União (DOU). Com a medida, o valor mínimo definido pelo ministério para o exercício de 2025 é R$ 4.867,77 para a rede pública de todo o país, com jornada de 40 horas semanais.
O aumento está acima da inflação medida pelo Índice Nacional de Preços ao Consumidor (INPC), que ficou em 4,77% no acumulado de 2024. O reajuste também está acima da inflação oficial, medida pelo Índice Nacional de Preços ao Consumidor Amplo (IPCA), que fechou o ano passado em 4,83%.
O piso salarial é o valor mínimo que professores devem ganhar no Brasil. A legislação determina o reajusta anual do valor. De acordo com a norma, o piso é a base estabelecida para professores com formação em nível médio.
“Por determinação legal, o MEC calcula o reajuste do piso utilizando o mesmo percentual de crescimento do Valor Anual Mínimo por Aluno (VAF mínimo), publicado na terceira atualização do Fundeb. Para chegar a 6,27%, o MEC calculou a variação percentual entre o VAF mínimo publicado na terceira atualização do Fundeb de 2024 e de 2023”, explica o MEC.
As remunerações dos profissionais da educação básica são pagas por prefeituras e estados a partir de recursos do Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica e de Valorização dos Profissionais da Educação (Fundeb), bem como de complementações da União.
“Como os salários dos professores são pagos pelas redes de ensino, cada estado e município precisa oficializar o valor por meio de norma própria”, informou a pasta.
