Polícia Civil da Bahia realiza Operação Apate para combater fraudes na transferência de veículos

Na manhã desta quarta-feira (30), a Polícia Civil da Bahia, através do Departamento Especializado de Investigações Criminais (Deic), deu inicia à Operação Apate, uma ação coordenada com o objetivo de desarticular um esquema fraudulento envolvendo transferências de veículos em Salvador, na Região Metropolitana (RMS) e no interior do Estado. Ao todo, estão foram cumpridos 15 Mandados Judiciais contra os investigados.

As investigações revelaram a existência de uma organização criminosa composta por servidores públicos, empresas emplacadoras e despachantes, que estaria envolvido na realização de fraudes na transferência de veículos para terceiros, sem o consentimento dos proprietários, com a finalidade de obter financiamentos bancários de forma ilícita.

Durante as apurações, constatou-se que uma das empresas envolvidas se apropriava de valores pagos por clientes, sem realizar os serviços de transferência ou o recolhimento de tributos, chegando a fornecer documentação falsificada. Além disso, o proprietário de outro estabelecimento facilitava a entrada de processos fraudulentos com a conivência de funcionários públicos do órgão responsável.

A operação contou com a participação de equipes da Delegacia de Repressão a Furtos e Roubos (DRFR/Vitória da Conquista), com apoio do Departamento de Polícia do Interior (Depin), por meio da Diretoria Regional de Polícia do Interior (Dirpin/Sudoeste), da 10ª Coordenadoria Regional de Polícia do Interior (Coorpin/Vitória da Conquista) e do Departamento de Proteção à Mulher, Cidadania e Vulneráveis (DPMCV).
