A associação criminosa identificada por investigações da Delegacia da Polícia Federal de Vitória da Conquista tem utilizado de redes sociais para oferecer e distribuir notas para diversos locais do país

A Polícia Federal deflagrou na manhã desta quarta-feira (19) a Operação Dracma com o intuito de desmantelar uma organização criminosa dedicada à fabricação e distribuição de notas falsas em todo o território nacional.
Ao todo, estão sendo cumpridos três Mandados de Busca e Apreensão nas cidades de Feira de Santana/BA e Rio Branco/AC.
A operação é um desdobramento de Inquéritos abertos pela Delegacia de Polícia Federal de Vitória da Conquista, em decorrência de flagrantes relacionados ao comércio e à distribuição de notas falsas através dos Correios.
As investigações revelaram que a organização criminosa tem utilizado redes sociais para oferecer e espalhar as notas fraudulentas para diversas regiões do país.
Os crimes investigados na Operação incluem associação criminosa (Artigo 288 do Código Penal Brasileiro) e moeda falsa (Artigo 289 do Código Penal Brasileiro), cujas penas máximas podem totalizar até 15 anos de reclusão.
O nome da Operação é uma alusão à antiga moeda grega.
