O prefeito em exercício de Riacho de Santana, Tito Eugênio Cardoso de Castro (Podemos), afirmou neste domingo (1º) que não houve intenção de favorecimento ou exclusão de candidatos na formulação do Edital ao anunciar a decisão de acatar a decisão judicial que suspendeu as provas do Regime Especial de Direito Administrativo (Reda). A medida foi tomada em cumprimento a uma Liminar da Justiça, atendendo a Mandado de Segurança Coletivo impetrado por nove vereadores apontando irregularidades no Edital do Processo Seletivo.
Segundo o gestor, os termos questionados foram elaborados diante da urgência em atender às demandas da Secretaria Municipal de Educação, especialmente pela proximidade do início do ano letivo. Ele destacou que a decisão judicial foi cumprida imediatamente, em respeito ao Princípio da Legalidade, ainda que reconheça possíveis impactos na organização das atividades escolares.
Tito Eugênio reforçou que não houve intenção de direcionamento por parte da Administração Municipal, através da Secretaria Municipal de Educação, ou da Empresa contratada para organizar a seleção. O objetivo, destacou o prefeito, foi garantir que a Secretaria Municipal de Educação pudesse concluir o planejamento e iniciar o ano letivo com o quadro de profissionais adequado.
A suspensão das provas gerou preocupação entre os candidatos inscritos, que aguardavam a seleção como oportunidade de ingresso temporário no serviço público. Muitos manifestaram receio quanto à indefinição do processo e ao atraso na convocação de novos profissionais.
Ao JS, o prefeito em exercício Tito Eugênio Cardoso de Castro (Podemos), assegurou que o funcionamento das Escolas não será comprometido e que alternativas estão sendo estudadas para garantir não só o início das aulas, mas o cumprimento da carga horária prevista. “Estamos trabalhando para que os estudantes não sejam prejudicados. O cumprimento da Medida Liminar expedida pela Justiça foi necessário, mas já buscamos soluções para suprir a demanda de professores e servidores”, ressaltou.
Especialistas em gestão pública avaliam que o episódio evidencia a importância de planejamento e transparência nos processos seletivos. Para eles, embora a suspensão possa gerar insegurança entre os candidatos, a postura do prefeito Tito Eugênio em acatar a decisão sem contestação demonstra respeito às Instituições e maturidade administrativa.
Enquanto o Edital passa por revisão para eliminar dúvidas sobre sua lisura, Tito Eugênio reiterou que sua gestão seguirá pautada pela responsabilidade e pelo diálogo com a comunidade. “Nosso compromisso é com a Educação e com a legalidade. Vamos continuar trabalhando para que cada decisão seja tomada com equilíbrio e respeito às Instituições”, concluiu.
