Em vídeo divulgado em suas redes sociais, Tito Eugênio classificou a proposta como um marco para a Saúde Pública da região. “A proposta apresentada pelo Governo da Bahia é um passo fundamental para garantir atendimento digno e especializado aos nossos cidadãos, fortalecendo a Rede Pública de Saúde”, declarou o gestor, visivelmente confiante no impacto positivo da medida.
Segundo o prefeito em exercício de Riacho de Santana sinaliza ver na medida uma resposta concreta do Governo Jerônimo Rodrigues, cuja sensibilidade destacou, às demandas históricas por melhorias no atendimento Oncológico na região. A expectativa, acrescentou Tito Eugênio, um dos mais experientes políticos regionais, é que, com a estadualização, a Unacon de Caetité se consolide como referência regional no combate ao Câncer, beneficiando milhares de pacientes que dependem do SUS para tratamento.
A proposta ainda será submetida à apreciação da Câmara de Vereadores de Caetité. Caso aprovada, marcará uma nova etapa na política de regionalização da Saúde na Bahia, com foco na descentralização e qualificação dos Serviços Especializados.
