A Prefeitura Municipal de Bom Jesus da Lapa, por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Agricultura, Abastecimento e Empreendedorismo, deu início à distribuição de sacos de milho com o objetivo de apoiar a alimentação dos rebanhos de pequenos produtores do município. A iniciativa conta com o fornecimento do Governo do Estado, realizado através da Secretaria de Estado do Desenvolvimento Rural da Bahia, por meio da Companhia de Desenvolvimento e Ação Regional (CAR). A Prefeitura Municipal é responsável pelo cadastro dos produtores e pela entrega do milho.
A ação visa assegurar a segurança alimentar dos animais e fortalecer a renda das famílias rurais, promovendo o desenvolvimento sustentável e impulsionando o setor agrícola local. A distribuição está prioritariamente direcionada aos pequenos agricultores que possuem a Declaração de Aptidão ao Programa Nacional de Fortalecimento da Agricultura Familiar (DAP/Pronaf) e o Cadastro Nacional da Agricultura Familiar (CAF).
O titular da Secretaria Municipal de Agricultura, Abastecimento e Empreendedorismo, Leonardo Francisco de Oliveira Dourado, destaca que o processo está sendo conduzido de forma organizada, seguindo critérios que atendem às necessidades específicas dos pequenos produtores. Dessa forma, ressalta o secretário, busca-se garantir o uso correto do milho na alimentação animal, contribuindo para o bom funcionamento das atividades rurais do município.
A entrega de milho aos pequenos produtores rurais, realizada pela Prefeitura Municipal de Bom Jesus da Lapa com o apoio do Governo do Estado, reforça o compromisso da gestão do prefeito Eures Ribeiro Pereira (PSD) com o desenvolvimento sustentável e o fortalecimento da agricultura local. A iniciativa promove o bem-estar das famílias do campo e impulsiona a economia rural. Segundo o prefeito, a ação evidencia o empenho da Administração Municipal em valorizar os pequenos produtores, fortalecer a agricultura familiar e construir uma comunidade mais justa e equilibrada.
