A Prefeitura Municipal de Brumado, através da Secretaria Municipal de Educação, anunciou a ampliação da oferta de vagas na modalidade Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA), destinada a pessoas acima de 15 anos que desejam iniciar ou retomar os estudos. A iniciativa integra um conjunto de ações voltadas para a valorização dos profissionais da Educação, a promoção da inclusão e a garantia da isonomia, com destaque para a distribuição de uniformes padronizados – short, camisa, tênis e mochila – a todos os alunos matriculados na rede municipal de Ensino.
De acordo com a gestão municipal, a medida reforça o compromisso de tratar a Educação de qualidade como um direito fundamental de todos os cidadãos. Além de assegurar condições igualitárias aos estudantes, a proposta busca ampliar o acesso ao Ensino e fortalecer a permanência dos alunos nas salas de aula.
O calendário de matrículas para a Educação de Jovens e Adultos segue aberto até o dia 9 de fevereiro, e os interessados devem procurar a Escola Municipal de Tempo Integral Professora Maria das Graças Assis (Bairro Novo Brumado) e Escola Municipal de Educação de Jovens e Adultos Antônio Carlos Magalhães (Bairro do Tanque do Abaeté) para obter informações sobre turmas e procedimentos de inscrição.
Meta é superar número de alunos atendidos em 2025
A Secretaria Municipal de Educação pretende ampliar o número de estudantes atendidos em relação a 2025, quando 741 alunos concluíram atividades nas diferentes modalidades:
- EJA Regular – 295 alunos
- EJA Prisional (EJA/PPL) – 210 alunos
- Programa Brasil Alfabetizado (PBA) – 236 alunos
Segundo a Administração Municipal, a expansão da Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) representa não apenas um avanço educacional, mas também uma política pública voltada para a inclusão social e o fortalecimento da cidadania. Ao oferecer mais oportunidades de estudo para jovens e adultos, o município busca reduzir desigualdades e abrir caminhos para novas perspectivas profissionais e pessoais.
O prefeito Fabrício Abrantes Pires de Souza Oliveira (Avante), destacou a importância dos Programas de Alfabetização de Jovens e Adultos e Brasil Alfabetizado como instrumentos de inclusão social e valorização da cidadania. Segundo o gestor, garantir acesso à Educação para pessoas acima de 15 anos que não concluíram os estudos na idade regular é uma prioridade da Administração Municipal, reforçando o compromisso em tratar a Educação de qualidade como um direito fundamental de todos. Para ele, a Educação de Jovens e Adultos é uma oportunidade de transformação e, o Governo Municipal, ao abrir espaço para que jovens, adultos e idosos retomem os estudos, está promovendo dignidade, igualdade e preparando nossa população para novos desafios.
