A Prefeitura Municipal de Brumado anunciou a prorrogação do prazo de inscrições para o Programa Minha Casa, Minha Vida – Residencial São Sebastião I. Agora, os interessados terão até o dia 9 de janeiro para realizar o cadastramento nos Centros de Referência de Assistência Social (Cras) Esther Trindade Serra (Bairro Baraúnas), Irmã Dulce (Bairro São Félix) e Yolanda Pires (Vila Presidente Vargas).
Segundo a Secretaria Municipal de Desenvolvimento Social e Cidadania, a medida busca ampliar o acesso das famílias que ainda não conseguiram se inscrever. O processo segue os critérios definidos pela Resolução nº 162, de 12 de setembro de 2025, do Conselho Municipal de Assistência Social. Entre as exigências estão: estar inscrito no CadÚnico (Cadastro Único para Programas Sociais), não ter sido contemplado em outros Programas Habitacionais, comprovar residência mínima de cinco anos em Brumado (para não naturais do município) e ser beneficiário do Aluguel Social, uma vez que a proposta é priorizar as famílias em situação de vulnerabilidade social.. Além disso, apenas famílias enquadradas na Faixa 1 do Programa – com renda bruta mensal de até R$ 2.850,00 – poderão participar.
A secretária municipal de Desenvolvimento Social e Cidadania, Magaly do Carmo Alves Rodrigues, destaca que a prorrogação garante mais tempo para que os interessados realizem a inscrição “com calma e segurança”, reforçando o compromisso da gestão em assegurar oportunidades para quem sonha com a casa própria.
O empreendimento será construído em uma área localizada entre o Bairro São Jorge e o trecho urbano da BR-030 (Brumado/Caetité). O projeto prevê a construção de 144 apartamentos, ruas pavimentadas, sistema de esgotamento sanitário, abastecimento de água tratada, além de espaços de convivência, esporte e lazer. O investimento total é de R$ 22,176 milhões.
